Let's begin this story of Humans & Gods, Adventurers & Familias, and Blades & Monsters by meeting a young Adventurer who wishes to uncover the secrets behind the Dungeon! Where will his curiosity take him? And what dangers could he wander into?
The City of Orario, a large sprawling town of houses, shops, the Adventurer Guild, and the many Familias that belong to the gods and goddesses of the world. However the most notable feature of this city, was the Dungeon, a large tower that stood in the center of the town. A dangerous place with seemingly endless floors and monsters patrolling each of them, the deeper in the more dangerous they become.
Walking through the streets of this sprawling city was a lone teenager, sixteen years of age. He had short blonde hair and curious green eyes. He wore a green jacket over a a salmon colored shirt, his hands covered by white gloves that stopped at his elbows. He wore tan brown pants that were tucked into dark brown boots, slung on his shoulder was a satchel and strapped across his back was a rather worn cleaver like sword.
This curious young man was Leo Barclay, a Level One Adventurer of the Loki Familia. As he walked, Leo jotted down notes in a journal he carried in his right hand, a pencil in his left hand. "If my calculations are correct, the spawn time for Kobolds and Goblins on the first and second floor is around five minutes. However on the third and fourth floors it only takes three minutes." Leo mumbled to himself as he wrote down this information in his journal.
Leo closed his journal before slipping it into his satchel and looking down the street, while he certainly didn't earn as much Valis as his fellow Familia members, he made enough to supply gear for himself. Leo approached a potion vendor before pulling out his wallet. "Four healing potions please." Leo requested as the vendor nodded, placing the vials of healing potion on the counter. Leo handed over two thousand Valis before taking the potions and slipping them into his satchel. Leo waved goodbye to the vendor before checking his wallet, he had maybe one hundred Valis left. "I'm going to have to make these potions last until I can at least make a thousand Valis to buy two more." Leo groaned, while he certainly didn't get in serious danger often, it would be bad to act recklessly with limited resources.
