"God dammit!", America yelled in a whisper.

He searched everywhere. Through his bags, every pocket of his clothes, under the bed, the gear, the boots, the fucking socks! And yet he found nothing!

Although he's stupid enough to think America would buy the story about the attack, he's smart enough to hide evidence about himself.

America checked his watch. He had another 30min left until they release him from the medical department. He better find something by then or he might just go insane.

Turning around in circles he tried to figure out where to look next. His eyes then landed on the ventilation opening on the wall.

"Bingo!"

He took a chair and stood on it so he could reach the opening but his blood froze at what he saw there.

A small red light.

A fucking camera.

"Oh come on!"

Taking out the camera he stopped the recording and took out the SD card. His eyes widened in shock.

He actually found evidence!

But he still needs to deal with all this crap.

He then noticed something else. There were more SD cards there and a phone. But it seemed to be a military designed one. It could be used in this frozen desert without needing to use their communication gear, so even if they tried to monitor the calls in the next 24h they wouldn't find anything.

He checked the phone for any memorized phone numbers and found only one whose number was hidden. Of course this had to be difficult.

He placed the phone back in it's place and made a quick run back to the security room. He had to fix the footage before that filthy idiot comes back to his room. He'll definitely check the camera when he does and everything will be ruined.

"Well hello there," America said smirking.

He was watching the original footage after he returned the camera and empty SD cards to the room.

He still had a few minutes left so he needed to check the recordings quickly.

He just watched the man talk on the telephone in his room. But something wasn't right. He turned towards the camera and waved.

Why would he wave to a recording camera? It's just a camera. Unless-

"Fuck!..."

America took the card out and ran outside. Hopefully it's not too late.

He turned a corner and almost crashed into the basterd. He was just about to walk in.

"Everything okay Sir?"

America faked a laugh.

"I forgot to check the fire in my tent. I sure don't want to freeze to death today."

"Oh, okay."

America moved pass him and kept running. That was close. Too close even. If he got there 10 seconds earlier it wouldn't have went well.

He finally made it outside and as expected he could hear his phone ringing.

He ran into the tent and answered the call.

"Yes?"

"Well played my dear America. You're smarter than you seem, or just lucky."

That creepy voice again.
