surprise gone wrong

It was a beautiful weekend, Gavin and Lucas had planned to go out that day and most especially Lucas wanted to surprise Gavin with the best hiking trip he keeps asking for so that Friday evening they were busy packing up because they wanted to get there earlier than expected

Lucas was so excited and seeing him happy was all that Gavin ever wanted to see because he means the world to him. When everything was ready they packed up and started their journey

It was a four hour drive but they eventually reached their destination. The air was fresh , green vegetation and the venue was stunning. Lucas was so happy he started running around

Gavin : sweetheart don't run too far ok

Lucas : I'm just right here. OMG Gavin this is so beautiful

Gavin : you've always wanted to come here for our anniversary so I made it my choice to surprise you on this very day

Lucas was beyond happy he just hugged Gavin and started crying but Gavin told him it's because he's always wanted to make him happy

Lucas : but honey this is too much

Gavin : nothing is too much when it comes to making you happy sweetheart plus you being here is already an enough present for me

Lucas : oh honey I just......

Gavin : shhhh don't cry sweetheart. Enough ok. Time to go inside and Leo will be joining us tomorrow I can't have you on your own if I want to go out ok

Lucas : yes sweetheart I love you so much

Gavin : I love you more than anything sweetheart

Nighttime arrived quicker than usual. Lucas wanted to explore the forest tomorrow morning but Gavin was worried of the dangers that those woods held so he was less hesitant but told him not to go far

Gavin : sweetheart I'm afraid you might get lost or worse get attacked by a dangerous predator

Lucas : I promise I'll be careful sweetheart. If I'm not home by sunset you come searching for me ok

Gavin : ok sweetheart please be careful

The next morning Leo arrived and after breakfast Lucas set out to explore the forest. It was getting dark and Cold and Lucas was so lost. Leo tried calming Galvin down but nothing was working so they decide to search for Lucas.

Out of desperation he was trying to run but accidentally tripped and hurt his ankle. He was trying to get up but it was too painful and it was slowly getting dark and Cold.

A little later he started hearing animal growling and a tiger was headed towards him. Just when he thought that his life was over there was a white wolf that jumped in front of him and saved him moments before he passed out because he was Cold , hungry and thirsty and was worried about Leo and Gavin who were probably still looking for him

Gavin was trying hard to find Lucas but it was so cold and it was becoming hard for him until Leo had to carry him because his legs were getting numb

Leo : let's search in the morning ok. He might have found somewhere safe and you are hurt now.

A little later he woke up feeling warm and a nice smell of goat meat filled the Air. When he was looking around he saw the wolf man that saved him earlier and was now cooking and making sure he was warm and that he had no injuries with him.

Candice : oh you finally woke up. Are you hungry ? You have to be careful around here I was glad I found you when I heard you screaming. Are you here with someone ? They must be worried sick looking for you. I'm Candice

Lucas : thank you so much for saving me and yes I came here with my fiance. I'm just glad he wasn't alone and that Leo is with him. It might take days for them to find me because my fiance isn't great with cold weather but he just wanted to make me happy. Why are you um.... A wolf

Candice : it's a curse from my ex boyfriend because he didn't want to let me go but until I find someone else to love it might undo the spell

Lucas : if my boyfriend finds me will you come back with us

Candice : I don't want to be anyone's burden

Lucas : you haven't met him yet but I also tried to pursuade him to stop wasting money on me but he won't listen so I really don't think you will be a problem

Candice : ok if you insist

Lucas was still freezing until Candice wrapped himself around him making it warm again

Lucas : ohh you are so fluffy.

Candice : you have a beautiful voice.

Lucas : oh wow thank you I guess.

After a few days of searching they finally find each other. Gavin kept calling Lucas until they finally reunited and Lucas introduced Candice to Gavin but his attention was to Leo but since he was still scared he couldn't fully trust them until Leo hugged him and it made him feel safe

Over the next few weeks Candice began falling in love with Leo and was struggling to tell him about how he felt when he asked if they could talk and he finally confessed. He was trying his best to see if he could break the spell and Leo was willing to help him so after a few More years when they were sure that their feelings were genuine they finally kissed which worked and undid the spell.
