Pale green eyes were sending daggers to anyone that made contact with the young woman. Her eyes where sunken, sweat dripping down her face. A trickle of blood was falling down her nose, her feet nearly giving up on her as she was dragged. Two men held onto her arms as she was dragged, her long black hair was pulled into a plait, small whisps stuck to her face.
Who's dumb idea was this? Maddison of course. Once again looking for her son. Now Vienna loved Nick, properly loved Nick she always had. He would be the only person to make her laugh when she was down. The only one that could see when she was down, the only one to be there for her when she was in hospital after her accident.
She didn't hate the Clark family, it was the opposite. She admired them. Maddison made her father happy, something she hadn't seen in a long time. Vienna grew close to the older woman, sometimes confining her secrets that she couldn't tell her father.
Then there was Alicia. The two girls had very little in common, but they were always friendly with each other. But now that the world was ending, everyone had one thing in common and that was survival.
"Get off me". Vienna snapped to the two men that were dragging her. One had her in a vice grip, that she knew she was going to bruise.
"Vienna calm down". Travis said, his voice stern. His head turned to look at his daughter, his head shaking for a moment.
"Mom". Alicia shouted.
"Maddie" Travis shouted as she fell to her knees. "Get your hands off her". He yelled. Vienna looked down at Madison as she was being dragged past her, her eyes full of worry. She looked around, her face scrunching up in disgust at the smell.
"We're just looking for my brother". Alicia pleaded.
Brother.
Chris was her little brother and she was meant to protect him, yet she didn't. The last thing she remembered was pulling a gun on her brother and telling him to leave after she ran into the two Clark women's room to see him holding a knife.
Now...he was dead.
Vienna knew he wasn't perfect, who was? He was completely destroyed after his mother died, and Vienna wasn't there for him to help him grieve. Something she would always regret. Maybe if she did help, he wouldnt of turned out the way he did. Maybe he would be with them right now.
"Stop fighting Alicia...stop". Maddison said softly.
Vienna looked around at all the dead bodies and it was hard to decipher if they were the living or the dead.
The gates opened and they were dragged in. Vienna could feel how exhausted she was, all down her bare legs where bruises and grazes. After they got to the border and the soldiers ambushed them, she didn't go down without a fight.
Vienna started to struggle again, her body twisting as she wanted to get out of these men's hands. All she wanted was a hug from her father.
"Stop struggling". One of the soilders muttered, as he tried to hold on tighter to her.
"Fuck you". Vienna snapped.
She was pushed to the ground, her fists clenching as she looked down at the ground. "Breathe", she told herself. Vienna knew this was stupid, she wasn't dumb. Those at the border that were dead hadn't been bit, they where shot and they turned.
"Say that again you little bitch". The soilder spat. Vienna looked down at the spit that had just missed her hand. She turned her head slowly, glaring up at the soilder.
"I wanna talk to someone. Let me talk to someone in charge, please". Madison pleaded.
Vienna let out a agonising groan as she was pulled up from the floor, the vice grip was once back on her arm. "Calm it". The man whispered in her ear. Vienna glared up at him, her head turning to look anywhere that wasn't him.
Her eyes found a young man in one of the trucks. He was pulling out a journel, not a care in the world. Vienna wished she was like that, back on the Abigal, with not a care in the world.
Vienna frowned as she was dragged away with Travis, Alicia and Madison going in a opposite direction. "Wait where are you taking them". Madison shouted, her body turning to look at the father and daughter.
"It's okay". Travis replied. But Vienna struggled in the mens arms, she didn't want the group to seperate, not after everything they had been through to find each other again.
"Get off me". She screamed, as she began to thrash in there arms.
"Vi, came down". Travis yelled to his daughter.
Another man came forwards as he helped them grab onto Vienna. "Fuck you". She spat as they dragged her away.
"No". Vienna muttered as they dragged her to a truck. They pushed her in beside Travis, her eyes landing on Maddie and Alicia one last time.
