Arriving at Incheon in my private jet from Jeju Island after visiting Jihyo on her mini vacation with her boyfriend. The anticipation for tonight's celebration fueled my excitement. A car awaited me on the runway, whisking me away to the venue. Despite the early hour, perfection was paramount, and I wanted to ensure every detail was in place. Entering the venue, I sought out the person in charge of the party, a man with a clipboard in hand and a focused expression. I greeted him with a warm smile, "I hope everything is coming together for tonight. Can you walk me through the preparations?" He nodded and efficiently guided me through the venue, detailing each element meticulously. "Here's where the main event will be, and over there is the catering setup. We've got enough staff for smooth service, and the decorations are on track." I inquired about the crucial details, "How many guests are expected? Is the food sufficient, and are the arrangements for the bar in order?" He assured me, "We're expecting around a hundred guests. The food is more than enough to feed everyone, and we've stocked up on a variety of beverages." I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. "Excellent. I want tonight to be unforgettable. Ensure everyone knows their role, and let me know if there are any last-minute adjustments needed. I trust you to make this celebration flawless." With that, I left the dedicated organizer to oversee the final preparations, my mind already envisioning the vibrant celebration that would unfold later in the evening.
As I settled into the plush interior of the car, heading back home, my phone buzzed with a call from Mina. Answering, I heard the sincerity in her voice as she apologized, "Sana, I'm really sorry for not making it to the party tonight. There's an emergency shoot we have to do. The scene got mistakenly deleted, and we need to reshoot it." I assured her, understanding the demands of her profession, "Mina, it's okay. These things happen. Don't worry about missing the party. Your work is important, and emergencies arise. We'll catch up soon."
There was a moment of gratitude in her voice, "Thank you, Sana. I really appreciate your understanding. Let's plan something when I'm back in town." As the call ended, I leaned back, contemplating the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry. Flexibility and understanding were key, and I couldn't fault Mina for a situation beyond her control. The night might miss her presence, but friendships, like ours, could weather the unexpected twists that life often brought.
Arriving home after a seemingly endless drive, the excitement for tonight's party was out of this world. Momo's unexpected availability had added an extra layer of anticipation. The thought of her joining the celebration made the evening all the more special. Rushing to my home, the first order of business was a refreshing shower. The water cascaded. Energized, I decided on a YSL dress, a stunning gift from Mina. It dropped elegance, capturing my style effortlessly. Matching heels, a handbag, and carefully selected jewelry completed the ensemble.
Admiring the reflection in the mirror, I felt a surge of confidence. Mina had an innate sense of taste, and this dress was the proof to her understanding. With a touch of makeup to enhance the look, I was ready for the night. Not wasting any time, I sent a quick text to Momo, "Hey, I'll be there shortly to pick you up." The excitement grew as I imagined the evening unfolding with her by my side. Descending the stairs, I instructed my driver to take me to Momo's house.
Standing in front of her home, the anticipation of the evening waned as 15 Minutes passed without a response to my text. My curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to knock on her door, wondering if something was amiss. As I walked down the driveway, faint voices reached my ears. Captivated, I couldn't resist eavesdropping. The conversation unfolding inside was more intense than I could have imagined.
"I'm really sorry for what I've done to you back then, I was so stupid. Please, Momo, I still love you." a remorseful voice pleaded. Momo's response cut through the tension, "this is fucking bullshit, Rosé. If you really loved me, you wouldn't have left me and cheated on me with that bitch... You can't love two people at the same time, and you're only here now because she left your ass." Rosé's voice, filled with regret, countered, "I loved you first, and I was just not thinking straight then. I got curious and I fell for it. I'm sorry for breaking your heart, but I promise it won't happen again. You were so busy with your work and school and didn't give me as much attention. I was so foolish but you... you make me feel special. I know you still love me considering you've never dated anyone after we broke up."
