[MOMO'S POV]

Stepping into my house, I couldn't shake the nervous excitement that tingles through me. I cautiously peeked through the window, ensuring Sana had left before making my move. The familiar surroundings echoed with the hushed sound of my footsteps, amplifying the weight of what I was about to do.

Dialing the taxi, I felt a knot tightening in my stomach. The lie about my car being in the shop clawed at my conscience, but the desire to spend more time with her drowned out the nagging guilt. In the back of the taxi, conflicting emotions churned within me, a turbulent mix of anticipation and remorse.

When I discovered that she wouldn't be picked up by her driver, guilt pierced through me. I had manipulated the situation to extend our time together, blurring the lines between right and wrong.

Finally inside my car, I decided to give Jeong a call. She picked up almost immediately, her voice loud and clear through the quiet confines of my car. "Did you finally have the courage to do something about the Queen?" Jeong teased, her playful tone dancing through the phone.

I chuckled, "Shut up, Jeong," unable to hide the smile that crept onto my face. We always bantered like this, and it was a welcome distraction from the swirling emotions. "I take it that something happened. Spill it, Momo," she prodded. I couldn't contain my laughter, "Well, I sent Sana flowers today and a letter. We spent almost the entire day together, and it was...Nice"

Jeong's laughter echoed through the phone, "Ah, the classic romantic move. Flower's and a letter. Smooth." I sighed, "Yeah, but here's the kicker. I had to lie and tell her my car was broken, that's why I'm driving home right now after picking it up." Her amused voice responded, "You've been watching way too much Kdrama. Are you planning to use all the classic moves on Sana?"

I couldn't help but laugh, "Well, it seems to work for them. Besides, Sana gave me a second chance, and I don't want to mess it up. If a little drama helps, why not?"

Jeong joined in the laughter, "Shit, it works for them; maybe it can work for you. Just don't overdo it, okay?" The call with Jeong ended on a light note as she mentioned having a huge meeting tomorrow. I wished her the best of luck before we both hung up. The hum of the engine and the distant city lights created a tranquil atmosphere, but that peace was shattered when I passed by an intense car crash.

Slowing down, a knot formed in my stomach as I tried to process the scene. It took a moment before I noticed the familiar make and model of the car involved–it looked exactly like Sana's. Panic set in, and I quickly parked my car, my heart racing.

I fumbled for my phone, hands trembling as I tried calling Sana, desperately hoping that she was already at home and safe. Each unanswered ring heightened my anxiety, and the seconds felt like an eternity. The flashing lights of emergency vehicles painted a stark contrast to the darkness around me as I waited for a reassuring voice on the other end of the line.

The gravity of the situation sank in, and I prayed for Sana's safety. The night, once filled with the promise of romance, now hung heavy with uncertainty. The distant wall of sirens underscored the urgency of the moment, amplifying the silence that followed each unanswered call.

After five unanswered calls, the realization weighed heavy on me - Sana probably wouldn't answer. Panic surged through me as I got out of the car and sprinted towards the accident scene. The police had already taped it off, preventing anyone from getting too close. My heart pounded in my chest, and tears welled up as I begged for this not to be true.

Crying and trembling, I hesitated to look at the scene unfolding before me. The medics were carefully pulling out the person involved, and as they turned, my worst fear became a stark reality – it was Sana. A guttural sob escaped me, and I couldn't comprehend the nightmare unfolding.
