Jin Guanyao's alarm went off at six thirty, but by then he had been awake for fifteen minutes, trying to decide if he should fix his breakfast himself or just get something from the takeout later.
Well, it wasn't unnatural for him to be up so early because ever since Xiao Zhan had left his hidden away home and from his grasp, Jin Guanyao had never been able to sleep peacefully.
Jin Guanyao clenched both his fists and teeth at the thought.
The sky was overcast, but it was not yet raining. His life had been kind of slow lately, well, since Zhan left. Sure, he had got his work, which he loved, and his friends, whom he loved, too. He went out regularly, read loads of books, had the occasional fling, his life happily rolling along like a bubbling stream over pebbles shining in the sun.
But still, he wasn't happy.
Well, he had no reason to be happy, to be precise.
The very source that his happiness was relied on, was now gone!
Disappeared!
Jin Guanyao felt his blood boil in anger and his heartbeat rise.
He reddened all over and he could not seethe in his anger.
He did not want to!
Not after how Xiao Zhan had just left his hiding place with no trace. Not after how Xiao Zhan had accepted to co-parent with Wang Yibo to raise their baby! Not after how Xiao Zhan had turned his back on him after keeping him away from the world and protecting his baby!
Just when Jin Guanyao was thinking that he finally had Xiao Zhan with him, the said person had shattered his dreams and had proved him wrong.

Jin Guanyao was very well aware of all the painstaking efforts the he had put back then just to separate Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan and make Xiao Zhan his!

He had been so desperate to make Xiao Zhan love him!

He had done his very best to make Xiao Zhan hate Wang Yibo and had tried his utmost into making Zhan believe that he was better than Wang Yibo in thousands and millions of ways.
But still, he had failed!
Jin Guanyao's eyes were filled with hatred! Hatred for both Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo.
He had made sure that both Zhan and Yibo will hate ach other, but still they had crawled back into each other again.
Back then, in order to make sure that Zhan will hate Yibo forever, he had shown Zhan the divorce papers that he had tricked Yibo to sign and had told him that Yibo did not wish to live with him anymore. He had told than that it was Yibo who had planned to kidnap him away from the hotel, that morning and that was the only reason why, he, Jin Guanyao, had brought Xiao Zhan into this hiding place to keep him and his unborn baby safe and sound.
And to make sure Zhan believe that Yibo really did not like him anymore, Jin Guangao had hired a mimicry artist and pretended to speak to Yibo through the phone, on speaker, while the other party "the mimicry artist" had clearly expressed his disgust towards Zhan, making Zhan finally believe that Yibo – neither trusted nor loved him anymore!
And it was he, Jin Guanyao, who stood by him and trusted him when no one else did!
Meanwhile, to make Yibo hate Zhan, he had told him more and more disgusting and bad things of Zhan, but the latter had not paid any attention to his words and had been so strong on his claim that his omega, Xiao Zhan was innocent.
If it weren't for Jin Guanyao hiding away Xiao Zhan, then, those two love birds, would have reconciled already .
As events of past flashed across his mind, his knuckles went red due to clenching.
He could not just sit by until both of them got together again and find outs the truth of the past!
He had to do something!
