Y/N couldn't help it, the thoughts, that is, about his life before Dr. Lecter had abruptly entered it. Thoughts about his girlfriend, thoughts about his family and friends. Slowly, bit by bit, his memories of them all becoming dull and unimportant as the days pass by.
He hated it. Hated how he loved the older man so much. He hated how he couldn't get the man off his mind, he hated how he couldn't run away and go back to his old life. He was trapped, not literally. He had every second of every day to escape - but how could he when Hannibal filled his mind completely? It was a mystery to Y/N. After all; Hannibal kidnapped him months ago. Hannibal killed his girlfriend months ago. Hannibal killed his friends and family, he ruined Y/N's reputation. He couldn't do anything or turn to anyone.
It was in that sense that he was trapped. Alone. But with the man his brain convinced him to love - even after all that had happened. It was a nightmare for Y/N, his suffering only causing Hannibal to become more than delighted.
