The weather today is kind of interesting. It's not sunny; instead, it's gloomy, like the sky is...

...sad.

It seems like it's going to rain soon. The wind outside is chilly, making everything feel colder. As I look out the window, the sky is getting darker, and I'm starting to worry.

shit.

if it rains now then i am doomed. i don't have an umbrella with m-

"Y/N!"

I quickly turned away from the window to face my teacher.

"I see you're physically present here but not mentally," he says, sounding a bit annoyed. "Would you mind repeating what I was just telling the class?"

Was it something about the print revolution in Japan? I have no idea.

"I wasn't really paying attention." i tried to sound guilty but it came out as a frustrated rant.

'you are worthless y/n!  i am trying my best to give you and Makio a good life. is that how you repay ? you're nothing but a disappointment!'

"Sorry sir, I'll try to be attentive next time" i sighed and bowed.

Mr. Kang is our chemistry teacher, he appears to be a man in his mid-life. I will not say that he is a bad teacher, but i don't know...it's just that

'I HATE SCIENCE'.

Not in a bad way but it's a subject i am not particularly good with. My relationship with this subject is like that one vegetable that you absolutely don't like but you can't help but to eat it with a smile when your mom made it for you... while she is sick.

But i am trying my best, i am sure I'll get through this.

"Lee y/n, you may sit." Mr. Kang with a softer tone turned around to the board catching up with the lecture. "so, we were talking about ionic bonds and covalent bonds, Park would you like to differentiate between the two?" he pointed towards the smart-ass kid of our university.

"Sure sir, Ionic bonds involve the transfer of electrons between atoms, leading to the formation of ions. Covalent bonds, on the other hand, involve the sharing of electrons between atoms"

Mr. Kang nodded with satisfaction. "as expected from you Jimin, you may sit".

shit. he called him by his first name!
