Next Day, Library

2:24 P.M.

So boring.

Life sometimes feels boring for no reason. You are in your usual routine, doing what you've always been doing but sometimes, all of it feels so useless and unnecessary. Why?

I don't know.

I scanned through some books that Jungkook recommended to me That day, and one thing i got to know is that he is probably obsessed with novels.

especially Romance novels.

Nothing that i hadn't seen before, I too liked these fantastical wonderland paper stacks but to my luck, i couldn't afford them. Renting some from the library is a good idea but my Mother's stabbing words still lingered in my conscience.

'your dumb ass can't read the books from Uni and now you want Novels!First get me some grades then i'll think about it'

sigh.

The library was bathed in the gentle glow of the afternoon sun, creating a serene, cozy vibe that almost made me forget the storm of emotions from the night before.

[Flashback]

7:11 A.M, This Morning

"Mom, where are my socks? Have you seen them?" My voice echoed through the house, carrying the remnants of a restless night.

"No, y/n, you must remember where you left them," Mom replied from the kitchen, focused on preparing breakfast.

"Okay-okay. I'll see. By the way, is Makio still asleep?" I inquired while heading towards the shoe shelf near the main entry. I recalled leaving my shoes there last night; maybe the socks were somewhere around.

Today at Uni seemed like the usual routine - the mundane lectures, familiar faces, and the less-than-appetizing cafeteria food. Yet, an unexplainable excitement tinged the air, hinting that today might hold something extraordinary.

"I hope today is a good day," I whispered to myself, searching for my elusive socks.

"Here they are! Gotcha!" I exclaimed, tossing my grey socks in the air, claiming a small victory. Mom appeared with a plate of sandwiches and a glass of milk, signaling that breakfast was ready. "Y/n, hurry!" she called out.

"Right! Just let me get my bag," I rushed upstairs to my room.

I tossed my books inside my bag and came downstairs.

As I descended the stairs, the lively chatter from the kitchen reached my ears, growing louder with each step. My anticipation heightened as I wondered what could be causing such a buzz this early in the day.
