For Remy, being around people was an out of body experience; didn't matter what sort of people, as long as they were nice and able to stand her awkwardness and unease with her herself.

That usually meant having only one or two people she could talk to.

The campus, Cheryl and Remy were a part of wasn't exactly the best one out there but it got the job done, getting them a piece of paper at the end of the couple of years spent slaving away in countless lectures.

The only upside to the whole campus was that it was in a really picturesque, countryside of the actual city.
Remy spent most of her time commuting, every day for over two hours.
It helped that she was quiet and never really talked to anybody, the commuting gave her a lot of time to herself.

High school was a haze when Remy tried to remember all those years because all that bullying never felt real.

Now in college, everything of her past seemed to fade away or at least she tried to think so.

The chance encounters between Cheryl and Remy were like signs from the gods, they are meant to be.

It all usually started with Remy's day, commuting with people she never even said 'Hi' to, outside of that moving piece of metal.

It was usually followed by daydreaming about Cheryl, like always in anticipation of getting to see her first thing in the morning.
