A rustling noise from the trash cans caught the bystander walking past the alleyway off guard, the soft pitter patter of paws and clicks of hooves tapping on the pavement of the alleyway were impatient.
"Uhm.. Hello?" The bystander asked curiously stepping closer into the dim light of the alleyway.
"Huh- Oh wha- It's Jinx- Hiii Jinx- Don't Mind me- Lemme just-" The voice yipped, It's small and fluffy frame clambering out of the trash cans clumsily falling snout first on the pavement.
"Help- Did you just fall on your face- Did you forget how to use your own paws or something?" Another voice said holding in a laugh as it started crouching down to the pile of fluff lying on the ground "Are you okay? Can you even hear me? Helloo?" it poked the other creature on the head
"The ground taste like murder" The pile of fur groaned in slight annoyance as it scrambled back on it's paws, It shook it's head and fur before trotting calmly over to Jinx
"Roxie- why do you live in a trash can... And why's qofi just sitting there-" Jinx spoke in confusion observing the two.
"so uhm long story short- I live in a trash can, because I can ain't nobody gonna stop me unless they want rabies! I mean if you need to skip school or something but ya don't wanna have to wait to get sick then i can give ya rabies for free! well..not completely free.. I'm sure you can spare a mice or two right?" She said with a hint of amusement in her tone as if she found it funny to cause other's death and rabies, though she was probably joking.
"...No thanks... I'd rather not....Die..." Jinx responded with a slight hint of disturbance in her tone.
"Wait rabies kills you??" qofi said sounding surprised at this "I thought it only killed dogs-"
"Yes- Rabies kills people qofi. Not just dogs it infects other animals too, including humans." Jinx replied to the surprised bundle of wool who walked over to the two at the edge of the alleyway.
A door creaked open slightly in the back of the alleyway, slowly and steadily opening its dark and unwelcome embrace of darkness and void to the three before stopping at 40° angle.
"Uh..Roxie...Has that always been there....?" Jinx approached the door slowly, she took a hold of the cold and rusted door handle and opened it.
"Has what always been wher- Oh! Nope I don't remember that ever being there-" Roxie sprinted over and qofi followed.
"Well that doesn't look welcoming at all-" qofi spoke curiously looking at the door.
"Lets go inside!" Roxie barked in excitement, And before anyone could protest Roxie ran into the door disappearing into the darkness.
"Wait-! Roxie!" Jinx yelled after her following behind and qofi followed right behind them both..
