Chapter ten: Night walk

Jimin's eyes were fixed on his phone as he was walking in the parking area. He was texting his dad about his late schedule when suddenly he bumped into someone, rubbing his nose he glanced at the man.

"Taehyung" jimin doesn't know how come the taller man would always make time to visit him, if he weren't aware of his clingy nature he would have believed that they were destined to meet like that.

"I was just passing by so thought of saying hi to you" taehyung casually said those words as if it was the simplest thing to do, jimin's hospital was completely opposite to taehyung's house and office so there was no way he could be passing by from here.

"Yeah right i completely believe you," taehyung sheepishly smiled being embarrassed at his own dumb reason. Jimin tried to walk past him but was stopped by a tug on his wrist,

"Can I borrow some of your time please" taehyung politely stated gesturing like a prince asking his princess for marriage, but in his case the princess was not that easy to please.

"No you can't, I am very busy" jimin straightened his gaze at taehyung only to find the bear pouting with those gleaming puppy eyes, jimin hesitated at first but then who can win over those puppy eyes.

"Stop acting like that, weirdo" taehyung just held jimin's hand and dragged him outside, jimin was unable to figure out why his cheeks always started heating up even with a simple contact with this guy, he just followed taehyung's lead wordlessly.

"So what's your thought on having a walk on the street under the moonlight" taehyung questioned with an anticipating look waiting for a beautiful response from his angel.

"Cringey and ridiculous" with that response of jimin, tae's thoughts of impressing him crashed then and there.

A small smile formed on jimin's features on seeing the dejected person.

"I am hungry, is food included in your night walk" a confused expression formed on taehyung's face 'did i forget about the food of course he must be hungry what sort of an idiot you are Kim Taehyung.'

"Would you like to go to a restaurant" jimin nodded his head in no.

"Let me show you a better place to eat" taehyung let Jimin lead the way.

They both reached a night market, it was entirely occupied with people strolling and eating, all the food items were looking appetizing.

A wave of nostalgia swept over jimin, he had been a regular customer to these places in his college days. A fond smile appeared on taehyung's face he had never been to such places, his dad strictly warned him to go to any such place saying that he didn't want to lose face because of taehyung's silliness.

Jimin shook him a little, and dragged him to the food stalls.

"See these are my favourite" jimin pointed at 닭강정 Dakgangjeong (sweet crispy Korean fried chicken) he took one plate and gave to taehyung.

Taehyung took a bite, a pout formed on his face while chewing it, finding it cute jimin snapped a pic of him.
