Arsène's awakening

The sun was setting over Vale, painting the sky in golden and orange tones. The air was charged with the vibrant energy of the city, as Ruby Rose, a petite five-year-old girl with silver eyes and red hair, played excitedly in her room. That day was special, marking her birthday, and she was eager to open the presents that were neatly stacked on her desk.

 By nightfall, Ruby was exhausted from the fun and excitement of the day. With a sleepy yawn, she snuggled into her favorite red blanket, closing her eyes as she imagined the adventures she would have in dreamland.

 However, something inexplicable happened at that moment of transition between wakefulness and deep sleep. Ruby felt a strange presence, as if something was stirring the essence of her soul. A soft light filled the room, and when Ruby finally fell asleep, she was no longer alone in her own mind.

 Arsène Lupine, the legendary thief and master of disguise, was reincarnated in the body of little Ruby Rose. Arsène's awakening was as subtle as a night breeze, and while Ruby's body rested serenely, her mind now harbored an intruder from the past.

 Arsène's first sensations in Ruby's body were strange and disconcerting. She felt the small childish hands, the short red hair that covered part of the face. The eyes that opened were the same silver as Ruby's, but with a spark of mischief that didn't belong to an innocent child.

 "Interesting... what kind of game is this?" thought Arsène, as he explored Ruby's mind and memories. He realized that he was now in a completely different world, full of hunters, Grimm, and an academy where young warriors trained to protect humanity.

 Ruby's voice, now mixed with Arsène's wit and eloquence, echoed softly in the empty room. "What...what's going on?" he whispered, waking up to the reality of his own altered existence.

 While Ruby tried to understand what happened, Arsène was intrigued by the possibilities that lay before him. A new life, a new body, in a world full of challenges and opportunities for a skilled thief. He smiled, a smile that mixed Ruby's mischief with Arsène's cunning.

 "Well, my little thief, it looks like we have a new stage for our arts. Let the show begin!" Arsène Lupine, now inhabiting the body of Ruby Rose, began to follow a unique and intriguing path in the world of Remnant.

 The first few days after Arsène's transformation were challenging. He realized that to achieve his goals, he would need to adapt to the role of Ruby Rose. While he was still mastering the art of speech and a child's manners, Arsène's personality began to subtly influence his actions.

 The morning after his awakening, Arsène woke up in Ruby's bed, looking around with curious eyes. He observed the simplicity of the room, full of children's toys and objects, a reality that was so far from his past experiences as a thief.

 As he adjusted to his new life, he decided that he would keep up appearances for now. After all, to escape the Rose/Xiao Long family home, he would need to go unnoticed. Arsène began to imitate Ruby's behaviors, from playing in the backyard to interacting with family members.

 Inside the house, Taiyang Xiao Long, Ruby's father, noticed something different about his daughter. "Ruby, are you okay?" he asked, looking closely at Ruby's eyes, which now carried a more mature and thoughtful expression.

 "I'm fine, daddy!" replied Arsène, trying to imitate the sweetness in Ruby's voice. "I'm just a little tired, I guess." The father, oblivious to the change, accepted the explanation with a smile and continued with his activities.

 Yang Xiao Long, Ruby's older sister, also started to notice something strange. Although intrigued, she couldn't identify exactly what it was. She just felt like her little sister was different somehow. Arsène, in turn, realized that Yang's attention could become a problem.

 "You'll need to be careful, my little Ruby," he thought to himself. "Avoiding suspicion is crucial to achieving my freedom."
