"Blade? What are you doing here?" Jing Yuan asked and Blade flinched "OH SHI-" just then Yanqing came with some cookies "huh? And the bird?"
"The door was open and I came in...that's all" Blade lied "where is finchy?" Yanqing asked Jing Yuan "I'm not sure it was right on the counter...which Blade was sitting on right now...so.." Jing Yuan looked away while Blade widened his eyes and Yanqing gasped "YOU KILLED FINCHY!!!" Yanqing screamed while pointing at Blade.
"Hu-HUH?! You have some nerve kid! I didn't kill the stupid bird!" Jing Yuan smiled "we didn't say finchy was a bird now did we Yanqing?" Jing Yuan said while crossing his arms and glaring at Blade while continuing to smile "No we didn't! You killed finchy! And you lied about not killing finchy!" Yanqing said while trying to punch Blade but failed as Blade held his head and pushed him away.
"It's in the name! Finchy equals a finch!" Blade said trying to not get caught "I didn't think you were that fond in knowing bird species...since you couldn't name the birds that always floated around me...which were finches." Jing Yuan said while pulling Yanqing closer to him "that's enough Yanqing...he's not going to listen to your banter..." Jing Yuan sighed and looked at Blade "go and pick some clothes...you can still stay over if you want.." Jing Yuan said while ruffling Yanqing's hair as he nodded "I will prepare a funeral for Finchy too...you should attend General..." Yanqing said sadly as he headed out.
"Oh my....don't worry I'll attend Finchy's funeral..." Jing Yuan said with worry.
Once Yanqing was out...
"You're so done." Jing Yuan said as he turned to face Blade "now why would you be angry at me?" Blade said avoiding Jing Yuan's eyes "because you're a liar...lying to a child....and me! Explain yourself...what happened to the finch?" Jing Yuan said sighing "you mean Finchy?" Blade snickered while Jing Yuan glared "yes...Finchy..."
Blade chuckled and gulped "well...don't freak out!...what if I tell you that this 'Finchy' is actually...me..." Blade said while biting his lip and the general fell silent.
"Look you can tell the kid that if you want but you tell me the truth got it?!" Jing Yuan said annoyed "but I am telling the truth! I can turn into a finch! Just look okay?" Blade said while Jing Yuan stared at him crossing his arms.
Then a poof could be heard and the rare blue finch appeared on the floor in which Blade had stood on.
Jing Yuan widened his eyes and his mouth in shock.
"Yo-You!! PERVERT!" Jing Yuan said as he picked the bird up and put it outside "I can't hurt an animal but once you turn to your human form...oh you're so dead!" Jing Yuan said as he closed the door ruffling the feathers of the blue finch spooking it.
I should've thought about doing this beforehand... Blade thinks as he sighs in his finch form.
"Hey...FINCHY?! General! Finchy is alive! We don't need to prepare a funeral!!" Yanqing said as he picked up the blue finch and stormed inside the house of the General.
"General are you okay?" Yanqing asks concerned "yeah....I'm fine...why'd you bring that devil bird with you?" The general glared at the bird as he snarled "Finchy isn't a devil bird!! I'm going to feed him I'll be right back...you and Finchy need to have a connection, here!" Yanqing places the blue finch into Jing Yuan's lap and goes to the kitchen.
"Blade...I am going to kill you for spying on me!" Jing Yuan whispers to the finch making the blue finch jolt.
Jing Yuan pats Blade on the head with gently with his finger "you're so cute when you're a finch~" the general hums and Yanqing comes back with food for the finch.
"Yanqing....what if I told you 'Finchy' is actually a human?" Jing Yuan gulps "I'm not sure....that's impossible though since that can't naturally happen...can it?" Yanqing asks getting closer to pick up the bird.
Jing Yuan sighs "no of course it can't happen....take good care of the bird okay? I'm going to leave the bird fully in your care..." he said smiling brightly and Yanqing squealed excitedly while Blade groaned in agony in his head.
He did that on purpose... Blade sighed.
Heh serves him right for spying on me....wait isn't he still going to try and spy me since Yanqing isn't leaving....Jing Yuan sweated nervously.
What should I do with Finchy once he's healed? Ooh I'm so excited!! Yanqing smiled brightly in excitement.
