Kaylon

Shay was different. That's the only word you could use to describe her. The way she carried herself was sexy as hell. She was exactly what I wanted if she would give me a chance.

"Kaylon, are you paying attention to me?"

Tracey, the girl my dad set me up with. Her breath smelled liked she ate shit flakes for breakfast. She needed to wax her mustache and her unibrow. I wasn't a judgmental man but damn at least keep yourself up. It's nice to see when a woman cared about how she looked.

"What did you say?" I peeked up from my phone. Shay had been sending me Snapchats while she was in class.

She started popping her gum. That shit was not dammit necessary.

"I said you are going to have to take care of me. I need to be taken care off."

Did I look like this bitch daddy? I mean I'll be good to you and all but you not going to sit on your ass all day dealing with me either.

"Really?" I asked with sarcasm in my voice.

"Yeah. I want a big wedding too. I want every network there. I want a bunch of kids too." Oh hell no. Time for me to go.

"If you would excuse me." I got out my seat quickly and tipped out of the restaurant without her knowing. My phone started ringing showing an odd number. Before I could even get a word out a voice said something.

"You know Aliya is pregnant by Elliot... Or at least I think." Shay. I smiled a little.

"What you talking about, Shay?" I asked while getting in my car.

"Well I was trying to call my friend Kyla, but I'll tell you. Aliya is pregnant." Was I supposed to be shocked? Aliya got exactly what wanted which was to be knocked up by an athlete.

"Do you want me to act surprised?" I asked with boredom in my voice.

"It's not that. Elliot wants her to get an abortion."

"Ok." Things like this did not faze me. Everybody in the business know how those two are. They hoed around on each other claiming they didn't like each other but it was obvious as hell they did.

"Just ok?"

"Face it. Aliya is groupie and Elliot is just... Elliot."

She sighed.

"Ok that's true, but still."

"Still nothing. Worry about Shay and not their problems. It's none of our business what they do."

"Whatever. I'll talk to you later."

She hung up on me. I saved her number quickly. Truth hurts I guess. She has to learn not to worry about who about who fucking who and who is knocking who up. I understood that was her best friend and all, but at the end of the day it ain't nobody's business but theirs.

My dad started calling me. I already knew what he wanted. I answered it. "Why did you leave her at the restaurant?"

"Because she is crazy."

"She is a nice church girl." I started laughing my ass off. What church did he find her at?

"My definition of church and yours must be two different things."

"She is a sweet girl."

"She told me I had to take care of her and that she wanted a bunch of kids."

"I told her mother to make sure she took her pills." He mumbled like I could't hear him.
