The KERORO Platoon Present: Well, Who Is This? De Arimasu!

Ah, yes. The “fridiots” Natsumi speaks of is, of course, the ARMPIT Platoon, also known as the Keroro Platoon. “Fridiot” is a mashup of the words “frog” and “idiot”, though I am sure you know that or have figured it out already. Out of the five Keronian members of the platoon, she usually only uses the term “fridiot” for three of them.

For instance, Kururu, the somewhat sadistic curry yellow Keronian, with a reddish curry symbol on his otherwise white stomach and yellow at the top of his head, which is orange at the very top, wearing round, spiral lens glasses is one she’ll call a fridiot. He spends most of his time in the platoon base in the Hinata’s basement, in his own little lab that is made out of pipes that look like his face. Though he will spend some time at Saburo’s house. Saburo is a boy with white hair, and can be a delinquent sometimes, like skipping class. Natsumi has a huge crush on him, though. Saburo won’t be seen much in these episodes except in some school scenes, and as his radio personality, 623, (pronuced six-two-three), as he is the least active main character.

Another instance, Tamama, the midnight blue Keronian with a funny-shaped symbol that is yellow on one half and green on the other on her otherwise white stomach and top of her head where her yellow ear flaps are, with a small tail, is one Natsumi likes to call a fridiot a lot. A lot of the time, she is in the platoon base in the Hinata’s basement, though sometimes she is in Momoka’s mansion. She has a scary alter personality that comes out when she is super angry or otherwise pissed off. She has this huge crush on Keroro, and she likes to call him “Mr. Sergeant” sometimes.

But the one she calls a fridiot the most, the somewhat ignorant leader of the platoon, is a green Keronian by the name of Keroro. He has a yellow star on his belly and red on top of his head where his yellow ear flaps. He also has a Gundam addiction. When I say addiction, I mean addiction.  I’d say Natsumi has a personal vendetta against him since she makes him do a lot of chores and bosses him around the most, but she can be nice every once in a while to him, so I don’t think she does.

The other two Keronians, she doesn’t really call a fridiot at all. Then again, they are the least chaotic of the five, so I guess that plays a lot into it, I suppose.

Dororo, the other blue Keronian, though a far lighter blue than the midnight blue Tamama’s skin is, is the ninja of the group. He wears a grey mask that covers the bottom half of his face. He has a yellow ninja type star on his otherwise white belly and a red one on the top of his mask. He always has at least one of his ninja blades, (i.e. a shuriken, a katana, a kunai etc.), on him, sheathed and ready to use at all times. Sometimes he may be in the hut he shares with Koyuki in the woods, and sometimes in the platoon base. He was often forgotten, though not as much now. Keroro and Giroro are his childhood friends, though Keroro could definitely treat him better, is all I’m sayin’.

Which reminds me. One more member of the platoon. Giroro. His resting face can sometimes be angry. He has a short temper, especially for ignorance. But that doesn’t mean he’s a bad dude, and I’m not just sayin’ that to keep his anger away from me. He looks cool, he acts cool, and I think he’s somewhat smart. He is red. He has maroon ear flaps with a yellow skull symbol on them. He has a white tummy and this badass belt that he wears across his torso. He keeps his guns in it sometimes. He also has somewhat of a crush on Natsumi, that, like, everyone seems to know about but Natsumi.

Enough of me yapping, I promise the narrator will take over most of the job soon.

Anywho, Natsumi and Fuyuki have made it home, Koyuki and Momoka along with them. Giroro is outside in his tent with his face on it in the yard. Dororo is inside on one of the couches, enjoying a sandwich that Fuyuki and Natsumi’s mom, Aki Hinata, made because she was feeling extra nice today.
