FROM TERRIBLE PAST TO BEAUTIFUL LOVE

New beginning

Kayal has completed some of their marriage rituals. Their parents arranged for decorating their first night room. Ashwin told that he has some emergency and went to hospital.
Kayal's MIL told her to rest for sometime

KAYALS'S POV

As my MIL said, I came to the guest room to take some rest. My mind was occupied by so many thoughts. Even Though I knew Ashwin is a good guy, I'm scared of him, is he sacrificed his life ? Will he be angry at me?
Huhhhhhhhhhhhh……
At Least my parents could have discussed it with me. I just came out of a toxic relationship. I need some break…. I feel so suffocating.When are they going to consider my feelings?( her eyes got glossy). Are they considering me as a burden?... i'm going to take this seriously orelse they don't understand my pain.
1st let me join for a job, I don't want to ask money from my parents and even from Ashwin. I have eared Rs.5000/- from my 2 months internship which I did while pursuing B.com final year. I will manage with it for one month.. I should quickly join a job and prepare for my bank exams. I should inform this to Ashwin. Will he allow me or be like my parents? 🤔

ASHWIN’S POV

I came out of the house after completing some of the marriage rituals. I lied that I had some emergency and came to the beach. All just happened all of a sudden. Will Kayal be okay with this marriage? I'm seriously worried about her state. She should have married someone but ended up with someone else. I should give her some time and space. So we both will come to know about each other. 1st let me see how she reacts tonight.
(He got a call from cleaning worker)

A-Hello
W- sir we have finished cleaning up the house. Please come and check once and if you are satisfied we will handover the key and leave sir.
A- yeah I'm coming in 5min

(Ashwin already had a luxurious furnished apartment. But it was not in use as he was single.He use to stay with his mum and sister. Ashwin's parents decided to send the new couple there as they have to know each other, they should get some space.)

Ashwin went and checked the house, it was neatly cleaned. The workers handover the key to him. Ashwin came to his parents house. They told both to get ready for their first night.
Ashwin and kayal both were nervous as this is their first time they are going to stay with opposite gender.

Time Skip to their FIRST NIGHT

Kayal entered with a glass of milk and gave a look at the gorgeously decorated room. She felt kind of nervous, she looked at Ashwin who was sitting in a chair and looking at her action.
She slowly placed the glass on the table and there was an awkward silence which was broken by Ashwin's Bold voice.

A- Kayal

(Kayal felt a shock in her spine as he called her name)

K- hmm
A- kayal I knew all this happened all of a sudden. I didn't know whether they asked your permission or not.

(Kayal was just starting at him, she is processing what he is saying)

Saying that Ashwin continues further.
A- whatever happened is happen . To think further we both need some time to understand each other.
Kayal just nodded her head.
A- let me be clear, I'm not saying this in hatred. Let us give some time to ourselves, will live like housemates first and will slowly work on this relationship too. That's it. I shared my thoughts, do you have anything to say?

Kayal nodded and started to speak,
K- I want to go for a job. Will you allow me?
A- That’s great! But why are they asking for permission? It's your life's decision.

(Kayal was shocked at his statement and also little nervous as she is taking decision for the first time without others influence)

K- I also want to study further. So I thought of managing both.
A- when you want to study then why do you want to go for a job? First complete your studies without any distractions. That's my opinion kayal, when you go to job it will be quite stressful and it will be difficult to study. Decision is yours.
K- yup! I knew it. But I want to go for a job. After completing my degree I was eager to go for a job but I didn't go to any job because they were arranging marriage for me. I'm planning to write bank exam.
A- That's up to you kayal. My concern is don't strain yourself. And all  the best for your studies.
K- Do you have anything else?
A- nope! Let's sleep. Are you okay with sharing a bed? Or I will sleep down.
K- no no you can sleep on the bed.
A- Don't worry. Tomorrow we are going to our new house. We will stay in a separate room. After getting comfortable we can share. Is that okay?
K- yup… thanks for understanding.

(Ashwin just gave a smile and nodded)

They both slept in the same bed with a good distance. Kayal's heart was beating like hell. This is her first time someone is asking and considering her opinion. Kayal was somewhat happy.

NEXT DAY:
Both got ready to go to their new house.
Vinod brought Kayal’s already packed things to their new house. Kayal and Ashwin bid bye to their families and went to their new house.

A- kayal choose you room
K- can u take this room.
A- yup! Then I will take that.
K- hmm. What about groceries?
A- my sister had brought it… the kitchen is set for cooking. I'm searching for a cook. Until then we can buy in a hotel.
K- why cook? I know cooking. I will manage.
A- heyy super woman how many things are you going to manage? Your job, studies, working in our relationship… see I don't want you to strain. Just focus on your studies and job, that's enough. Don't engage in house cores. I have arranged a maid for cleaning.
K- okay but untill you get a cook, I will take care of cooking. Anyway I'm not working now. I should search for a job. So it will take some time. Until then I will be free so I will take care of it…
A- hmmm okay then. Your choice. But only healthy food. No fried and sugary foods.
K- hmm done.
A- let me go and arrange my room I'm have to go for work tomorrow.
K- okay

They both started to arrange their things after Kayal cooked dinner. Ashwin tasted it and appreciated her. Kayal thought of joining an accounting firm as she will get her job quick and it will be easy for her to prepare also… she took list of firms nearby. They slept in their respective rooms.
