Back when you were mine

London

Lisa's POV:

Today was going to be a nice day for Lisa, she was thrilled to receive an honorary MBE from King Charles III but mostly she was excited to be back with the girls.
They were meeting all together at their hotel lounge. Lisa had a private flight that morning from Paris while the girls were flying from Seoul.

It had been four days since Rosé's call. Her last words were all Lisa could think about before she had to hang up.

"I miss you".

Lisa missed her too, like crazy, but she didn't understand where exactly they were in their relationship. They had been best friends for years and they both knew them being the maknae line helped the relationship grow.

There were times, especially during quarantine where they had spent so much time together, sleeping at each other's houses and just being in each other space where she felt so carefree and joyful which was kinda nonsense seen the Covid situation and the fact that she couldn't travel to Thailand to visit her family.

Lisa missed those moments where they were just the two of them, talking about life, love and making stupid jokes that made Lisa's stomach hurt from all the laughing. She had to admit, sometimes she had felt a mix of confused feelings towards Rosé; she thought that maybe being around her was making you feel like that, that it was normal to be happy all the time and wanted to keep her close.

While her train of thoughts was going non stop, her phone buzzed.

Fred: hey beautiful, safe flight and don't forget to send me a selfie with the King ;) love, F.

She smiled to herself reading his text. Lisa met him the previous year for some work projects and they had clicked right away. She was really comfortable with him, he was nice, funny and, mostly, he wasn't part of the kpop community. She loved being an Idol of course but she wasn't really keen to date someone in the industry.

Dating.
Such a weird word to Lisa. Technically they weren't openly dating but since that family vacation during the summer, they were quite (non)official to the world.
The craziest part was that she hadn't told the girls yet. They had probably figured it out but she didn't know why she couldn't tell them, especially to Rosé. Just the thought of telling her "hey I'm kinda seeing Fred" was so scary.

Oppa: "Miss Lisa, we're at the hotel".

Rosé's POV:

Rosé, Jisoo and Jennie were animatedly talking in the hotel lounge laughing at something that Jisoo had said.

Rosé: "Unnie!! You have slept throughout the flight, how can you say you're tired?!"
Jisoo: "I could still sleep if I had the chance"
Jennie: "Jisoo you're unbelievable!"

The girls were waiting for Lisa to arrive before checking in their apartment. For this occasion their manager had chosen to reserve an entire apt rather than four different hotel rooms. Since they were staying just for two days in London, being in the same room was the best option. The girls had had years of practice of living together so there wasn't a problem sharing an apartment.

When Lisa made her appearance in the lounge, Jennie was the first one to greet her with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Then Jisoo just waved at her smiling and when it came to Rosé she just froze.
The two girls stared at each other for a while, Lisa was the one making a move embracing Rosé in a side hug that was eagerly reciprocated.
The blonde girl closed her eyes at the touch of their bodies pressed together and inhale her perfume. She had missed so much being in her arms.

When they separated, Lisa smiled at her

Lisa: "hi"
Rosé: "hi"

Neither of them could say anything else. It was like they were having a staring contest.
