Missing you

Rosé's POV:

"And then I hung up" she explained to Jisoo. The blonde girl had been talking about the phone call she had had with Lisa the previous night.

"Well that was A LOT" Jisoo just commented.
"You tell me.." Rosie snorted
"So you've been in love with her for a while huh?"

Rosie got embarrassed, her face turning completely red and a small smile showing up.

Rosé: "yeah..I mean I've been talking to other people and you know that but I guess Lisa has always been my first and only love"
Jisoo: "I'm sorry you didn't feel comfortable in sharing that before"
Rosé: "It's not that I didn't trust you unnies but I was afraid for us as Blackpink. It was a huge thing and I couldn't handle it all alone that's why I got scared"
Jisoo: "I understand what you mean. You were scared to screw us all up for a crush. But you know it's not just a crush right?"

Rosé smiled to herself but suddenly a rush of sadness came to her along with silent tears.

That evening Jisoo and Rosé ordered take away waiting for Jennie to show up for dinner. The three girls spent the whole night talking and remembering all the things they had accomplished together as a group and individually.
Jennie tried to reason with Rosé about the whole situation.
She was well aware that having a relationship with Lisa was a no go for many reasons but she couldn't hide her feelings.

Rosé: "Lisa and I had a few almost kisses during these past couple of years. I think we grew pretty close during Covid. She couldn't go to Thailand so she was at mine's a lot. I tried to enjoy the time together but in the end I got hella scared and I shut everything down"
Jennie: "it's understandable Rosie. I'm sorry you had to go through this without our support"
Jisoo: "So Lisa feels the same?"
Rosé: "I guess she did but I have never been her first choice. Now she's in Paris and she's with him so..."
Jennie: "what did she tell you yesterday?"

Rosé filled Jennie in with her phone call while Jisoo kept nodding her head following again the whole story.

Lisa's POV:
It was her day off. She was going to spend the whole morning in bed and then some shopping in the evening with her manager. She was really drained from the chat with Rosé of the previous night.
Jisoo had texted her that she was going to be in Paris the following week for a few days and they were going to meet up. She was really happy to see the older girl because after all the turmoil she created, she needed a break to regain some strength to apologize the right way.

Lisa couldn't stop thinking about Rosé for the whole week. They left things on good terms but she knew she should have done something more to regain her trust.

She was waiting for Jisoo at her apartment since she offered her to stay over that night so they could have talked properly.

Lisa: "wassup Jisoo unnie! How was the flight?"
Jisoo: "hey Lisa! I slept the whole time. Your house is so beautiful...really French style ahah" she hugged the younger girl.

After dinner they both changed into their pjs and sat on the couch near the fireplace.
There was an awkward silence at first, neither of the two girls knew how to start that conversation. It was Lisa that took the first step.

Lisa: "I'm sorry for all the mistakes I made. I should have been more honest with you guys. My intentions were all good I promise. I was trying to protect both myself and y'all. Leaving for a while was the best choice for me to understand what I want for my future without hurting anyone."

Jisoo just waited for her to continue.
After taking a sip of her tea, Lisa kept going with her apology.

Lisa: "I talked to her last week" she paused. "To Rosé, I mean. We talked for hours and I guess it helped me to open up more about my feelings. I hurt her bad. More than once, actually. I don't know what she told you about our situation..." she trailed off waiting for Jisoo to say something.
