Start of December...
Location - Hiromachi Residence, Nanami's Room
Nanami's POV
It is very early in the morning when I wake up. 5:00am to be exact. I couldn't go back to sleep after that as something came into my mind. What could that be? Well, it's Christmas.
It's not exactly Christmas day, it's actually the start of December. However, I have one weakness when it comes to the holidays, I often struggle with coming up with the right gifts for everyone. What would I get for everyone? Even if I managed to find gifts for everyone, will they even like it?
"Sigh, I guess there's no point in thinking about it." I said to myself, and so, I went back to sleep, trying my best not to think about it.
_____________________________________________Early in the afternoon...
Location - Shopping Mall
Once it was close to the afternoon, I decided to go over to the mall and do some Christmas shopping. I figured it would be a good idea to look for Christmas gifts for my band members sooner rather than later.
I've been walking around for what felt like hours, and I still don't know what to get them.
"Great..." I sighed. "What do I do now?"
Just when I was about to give up, someone called out to me.
"Good afternoon, Nanami-chan."
That voice sounded familiar. I looked around, and I spotted Rimi nearby, and she wasn't alone either. Accompanying her was Saaya. I was happy to see them.
"Ah, Rimi-rin-senpai. Saaya-senpai. Good afternoon." I said as I greeted them.
"Good afternoon to you too." Saaya said. "Are you out doing some shopping?"
"Yeah, I am." I answered. "I'm trying to buy gifts for my band members."
"Really? How's that going?" Rimi asked.
"Not as well as I thought it was going to be." I sighed.
Rimi and Saaya looked upset by my answer.
"Ah, I take it you don't know what to get everyone?" Saaya asked.
"No, not at all."
I noticed Rimi and Saaya looking at each other, nodded before focusing their attention on me.
"Nanami-chan, if it's okay with you, we can help you find the perfect gifts for your band members." Rimi said with a smile on her.
"Really? You'll help me out?"
"Yeah, of course. We should do what we can to help you since you're younger than us." Saaya said.
"Rimi-rin-senpai... Saaya-senpai..."
A big smile formed on my face, knowing that I won't have to tackle this issue alone.
"Thank you so much." I said.
"Yeah, of course." Saaya said with her usual kind smile.
"Anyway, shall we get started?" Rimi asked.
"Yeah, we should." I said with a now confident smile.
_____________________________________________Christmas day...
Location - Hiromachi Residence, Atelier
Christmas day is finally here, and we decided that we would get together at my place to exchange gifts. One by one, we went around and exchanged gifts with each other. I waited for my turn, and I began to feel nervous. I just hope everyone would like the gifts I got for them.
"Alright, Hiromachi-san, it's your turn." Rui said.
"Yeah, come on, Nanami! Tell us what you got!" Touko said with a big grin.
"Okay, but before I do, I want to say something, though." I said to everyone.
"Oh really? What is it?" Tsu asked.
"It honestly wasn't easy to get the gifts, but thanks to some friends, I was able to find the right gifts for all of you."
I gave the first gift to Shiro. She opened it, and couldn't believe her eyes.
"Wow! The next book to Fairy Legends!" She said. "I've been looking everywhere for this book! Thanks Nanami-chan!"
"You're welcome. Now then, this is for you, Touko-chan."
I handed Touko her Christmas gift. She opened it, and like Shiro, she couldn't believe what she was looking at.
"Hey, it's that outfit I saw at the mall the other day. You rule, Nanami!" Touko said before giving me a thumbs up.
"I'm glad you liked them so much." I said and pulled out another gift. "This one is for Tsu-chan."
Now it was Tsu's turn to open her gift.
"Oh wow, it's a recipe book for baking sweets!" She said as her eyes lit up with excitement.
"Yep. While getting Shiro-chan's book, I saw this, and figured you would love it." I explained, though I think the grin on her face speaks for itself.
"I love it very much, thanks Nanami-chan."
"You're welcome, and finally, Rui-Rui."
Rui took her gift and opened it. However, she remain calm as she did.
"Ah, a new violin, huh?"
"Yeah, that was the hardest gift to get. I had to spend my whole paycheck to get it." I explained.
"I see."
"Come on, Rui! You could at least say thank you!" Touko said with a glare.
"I am thankful. I'm just saying she shouldn't spend her paycheck on something so expensive for me."
Rui looked towards me.
"Still, though, thank you, Hiromachi-san." She said with a smile. "I'll make sure to use it as much as I can."
"Good to know."
"Alright, everyone!" Tsu declared. "Although now..."
"MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!"
The end
