I closed the door behind me before turning around and taking a deep breath. I went down the stairs carefully , stopping to pet Carl on the nose before continuing on my way. Snow fell from the sky as I walked and I pulled my cloak around me. I wasn't paying much attention, instead lost in my thoughts , trying to figure out how Techno was still here and how to get Silver to talk to me again so I hadn't noticed that it was snowing so hard I could no longer see the ground around me. I tripped , landing on my hands and knees in a pile of snow. I suddenly wished I'd worn pants instead of shorts. I hate pants , they're too restricting but at least I'd be warm. I stood , brushing the snow off , and looked around . I couldn't tell where I was , and began to panic , turning in circles until I fell over again. I didn't bother getting up this time. Instead , I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths until I calmed down. Then I stood and brushed myself off again. My cloak and shorts were soaked, but there was nothing I could do about it. I used my wolf senses to find which way I was going then pulled my cloak closer and began to walk . I had to keep moving or I'd freeze. My teeth began to chatter but I knew I couldn't shift here. Techno taught me that first. NEVER reveal that you're creaturekin. You never know who's watching you. I kept walking ,stumbling every few steps until finally I tripped over something hard. I twisted sideways as I fell , too weak to try to get back up. "This is it." I thought. "I'm going to freeze to death.At least I'll be with Techno." I smiled as the world started going dark. A door opened and I heard someone gasp. "Raiya! Hold on, I got you!"I drifted away as someone lifted me then a door slammed. Philza's worried face was the last thing I saw." I'm coming ,Techno."
