​I stepped out into the snow , the slash on my face stinging as the flakes hit it. I turned for home , my silver cloak wrapped around me. I could feel the half dried blood stretching and flaking every time my face moved. It hurt like hell but I ignored it ,right along with Phil who had followed me out of Dream's house. I walked until I was far enough away from Dream's house that they couldn't see me. Then I let the pain in. I immediately stumbled, catching myself on the nearest house. I heard Phil move closer , but held up a hand. He was lucky I even let him see me like this. I took a breath , and then another. There were too many feelings inside me right now. I needed to get them out. I sighed and began to sing, memories of Techno flashing through my mind.

I dropped out of the song , letting Phil sing the last lines as we landed , folding our wings. Phil looked at me , then said " I'll wait as long as you need me to. Just let me know when you're ready. I'll always be here for you."Before I could say anything , my knees buckled. Phil caught me and said , " Gotcha!" , pulling me to my feet. I tried to stand but just fell again. Phil caught me , then said , " Wow , falling for me already?" I swatted at him a d said , " Shut up ,Phil! I can walk just fi..." I trailed off , the world swimming before going black. I heard him call my name before I lost consciousness completely.
