Faith's POV
Today is the first day of my junior year at Washington High school. This year I promised myself that I would make it a year to remember. I hate school but who doesnt? I just want to make the best out of it because before I know it high school will be over.
"Have a good day at school girls, I will see you when I get home." My mom said giving my sister and I a kiss on the forehead before leaving. "So are you excited?" I asked my sister. "Its my senior year, of course I'm excited." She smiled. "I can't wait to be a senior." I said to myself.
"Don't grow up to fast, then you wouldn't be considered my little sister." She frowned. "I will always be your little sister." I smiled. "Good because you being my little sister is responsible for getting me to school school on time." She chuckled.
"You really should learn how to drive." I chuckled, grabbing my keys. "Im more of a passenger seat person." She shrugged. "Yeah good luck getting around when you are in college and I'm not there." I told her. "That's what side hoes are for." She shrugged. "And yet I look up to you." I chuckled. "Let's go loser." She chuckled.
When I got outside I seen this boy walking out his house. If I'm being honest he was hot. I'm pretty sure he moved here a couple weeks ago but I'm not really sure. I hope that we have classes so I can stare at his face. That was weird but I'm sure all girls do it. Don't they? No.
At school
When we finally got into school Raven went in a different direction than us since she is a senior. I went to my locker which was right beside my best friend Sarah's.
"Hey hot stuff." Sarah greeted me. "Hey poo face." I chuckled. "How was your summer without me?" She asked. "Boring." I sighed. "You should have came with to London with me, you would have loved it." She smiled. "You know I don't do airplanes." I chuckled. "Its not that bad." She said shaking her head.
"If something goes in there air I'm not getting on it." I told her and she laughed. The warning bell rang and we both groaned. "I really hate that bell." I said as we made our way to class. "I know and its like a fire alarm and it stresses me out." She groaned. "Same." I chuckled.
When I walked in the classroom the first face I seen was the guy I seen this morning. "Where did you want to sit?" Sarah asked. "You have assigned seats ladies. Faith you sit beside Cameron and Sarah you sit behind Faith." She told us. I find it weird that we get the same teacher every year but its okay because she's cool.
"Who's Cameron?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "Cameron please raise your hand." She said. The boy raised his hand and gave us a small smile. I knew this year would be great.
Sarah and I took our seats and got all our stuff out for class. I looked over at Cameron and he was staring at me. He turned away quickly, pretending that he didnt do it.
He looked at me again and I turned away from him. I felt my cheeks start to heat up and I could hear him chuckle lightly. I feel like he's doing this on purpose.
I looked over again and seen he was still staring at me. "I'm Cameron." He finally spoke up. "I mean you already knew that, but um I never mind." He said turning away from me. "I'm Faith." I said placing my hand on his shoulder.
"That's a beautiful name." He smiled. "Thank you." I smiled looking down at my lap, playing with my fingers."I know this this seems a little forward but can I have your number? " He asked nervously.
"Give me your hand." I smiled. He looked at me confused but gave it to me anyway. I grabbed my sharpie out of my bag wrote down my number. "That's some beautiful writing." He chuckled. "I was gifted." I said flipping my hair.
"Give me your hand." He smiled taking my sharpie out of my hand. I gave him my hand and he wrote his number along with a little side note. "For the beautiful gifted one." I said struggling to read his hand writing.
"I like it." I chuckled. "Good." He chuckled. "I really like your hair." I told him. Why did I just say that?"I like yours too. Is that really the color of it?" He asked. "No my natural color is brown, I dyed it red because I thought it would be cool but I was so wrong." I chuckled. "Well I like it." He smiled and I thanked him.
I heard a snore come from behind me and seen Sarah with her head down and her mouth wide open. "That's Sarah." I chuckled. "I think she might be drooling." He said scrunching his nose. "Yeah that usually how it is with her." I told him and he laughed.
"I'm a drooler too." He told me. "I'm going to have to remember that if we have a sleepover." I chuckled. "Yeah, I usually have to bring my own pillows to those." He sighed. "I'm willing to let you drool on my pillow." I told him. "I feel so honored." He said putting his hand on his chest.
"You should because its a special one." I told him. "Oh really?" He chuckled and I nodded. "Looks like were going to have a sleepover soon." He shrugged. "Yeah and we can do each others make up, watch movies, and sing Drake until we cry." I chuckled.
"I'm down for it." He chuckled. "Besides the make up of course." He added. "Good so I guess, I will see you after school." I smiled. "You want to have it tonight?" He said raising an eyebrow.
"Well I mean I have no life and all I do is sleep so it would be nice to have a friend to hang out with." I shrugged. "Would your parents be okay with it?" He asked. "I wouldn't see how my mom wouldn't be okay with it." I shrugged.
"Well I guess I'm having a sleep over with a girl I just met." He chuckled. "I'm not that bad of a person. I mean sure I'm annoying sometimes but I can be fun." I told him. "Well I can't wait to hang out with you." He chuckled. "I promise not to be annoying today." I assured him. "I'm annoying too so we can be annoying together." He smiled.
"You really nice teeth." I told him. I'm so stupid. "Uh thank you." He said giving me a weird look. "Okay I'm really awkward to so beware." I sighed. "Yeah, I can tell but I like it." He smiled. "You are definitely the first." I chuckled. "I like girls that aren't afraid to be themselves. And if your awkward, weird, and annoying I like that." He shrugged.
"I never said I was weird." I said scrunching my nose. "Yeah but you said I had nice teeth." He pointed out. "Yeah, maybe I am weird." I sighed. "I'm weird to so its okay." He chuckled. "Weird is cool." I shrugged. "Cool is weird." He shrugged. "I like you." I smiled.
"I like you too." He smiled.
