When the Final Seal Breaks

When I got back to Central last night, I told Orleris about what I talked to Hope about. He shooed me out unnaturally quickly.

Then, this morning when I woke up, there was a pair of tiny diamond stud earrings and a large diamond sitting on the table beside me. I put them on right away. I wonder if Hope had looked into my memories or something to see what kind of earrings wouldn't stand out in my world? Earrings were hardly even a thing here to begin with.

I asked out loud what the large diamond was for, and to my surprise, got a reply. Hope, now God of this world, was apparently even more omnipresent than before. Or maybe he was just watching us protagonists closely.

He said that once I was back in my world, I should use it to let them know if I succeeded. If I shatter it, it will allow a momentary connection to him, and he will use that opportunity to confirm the plan had worked.

Today I will teleport notices into the northern town that is overtaken with miasma. Tons of them. We don't have coordinates for the Sky Domain, so I just have to hope that the infiltration of paper into his territory will be enough to catch his interest.

Then, I'm going to wait in the Sealed Forest, with all my belongings, and pray to Hope that this will work.

I'm not going to tell Orleris all the details. I don't really want to say goodbye before a fight. I think it will be easier for both of us this way.
