Snarling and growling, Nepeta circled her prey - Karkat and Terezi. ":33 < you guys suck. you guys FUCKING SUCK. you're both so FUCKING INSENSITIVE!"
"WH4T AR3 YOU ON 4BOUT, N3P3T4?" Terezi questioned from behind Karkat. "WH4T D1D W3 3V3R DO TO YOU TO M4K3 YOU M4D 4T US?"
":33 < not you, really, terezi." Nepeta's menacing gaze remained on Karkat. ":33 < it's mainly this motherFUCKER WHO I'M GOING TO KILL AND STAB AND SHIT!" Nepeta tipped her head back and howled. ":33 < YOU DON'T CARE HOW I FEEL! YOU JUST SIT THERE AND MAKE OUT WITH TEREZI, NEVER ONCE CONSIDERING..." Nepeta looked back at Karkat, tears welling in her glowing eyes. ":33 < never once considering how i... how i feel about... you, karkitty..."
Karkat's eyes were wide. "NEPETA?"
Nepeta sat in the middle of the floor and started to bawl. ":33 < i like you, okay, karkat? i really like you. and i wish i could go out with you."
Karkat was speechless, looking back and forth between Terezi and Nepeta.
":33 < but you deserve someone better than me. you deserve her." Nepeta looked up and pointed at Terezi, her eyes dimmed to her regular olive. Green tears tracked through the blood splattered across her cheeks - blue, jade green, purple - and dripped onto her torn, stained jacket. ":33 < she'd be so much better for you than me. she's sweet and caring, and you love her. you don't love me."
Karkat was quick to comfort her. "NEPETA, NO, IT'S NOT LIKE THAT! I LOVE YOU, I DO!" He encircled her in a tight hug. BUT -" Then he coughed, bright red blood landing on Nepeta's face and jacket. And Nepeta pulled her claws from his chest.
Terezi gasped. "NO! NO! K4RK4T, NO!"
Nepeta grinned, purring softly in his ear. ":33 < you fool. you naïve fool. did you actually fall for that batshit? i used to love you. i used to be obsessed with you. but now, there's someone else. someone better, someone stronger."
Terezi's glasses slid off her nose and landed on the floor beneath her feet. Tears fell around the shattered glass, mingling with Nepeta's tears. Terezi stared, dumbfounded and broken, as the scent of Karkat's delicious blood grew stronger. She could sense his black turtleneck sweater becoming stained with the bright candy red of her boyfriend's blood.
Nepeta threw the dying troll to Terezi. ":33 < here's your boyfriend."
She tensed her legs and bounced back into the vent where she came from. ":33 < i'll let you suffer for a while. bye now!"
Terezi unconsciously sniffed, to get a feel of where Karkat's lips were. "1M SO SORRY, K4RKL3S," she whispered.
"DON'T BE SORRY, BABE." Karkat's vision was growing dim, but he could still make out the features of his lover. "I CHOSE TO PROTECT YOU, AND AT LEAST MY LAST THOUGHTS WILL BE OF YOU."
He slowly sat up in her arms, smiling as best he could. "ONE LAST KISS."
Terezi pressed her tear-stained lips to Karkat's bloody ones. Teal and red mixed, giving Terezi a salty and sweet flavour in her mouth. She felt a soft pressure against her lips, then it faded and a final, soft breath exhaled from Karkat's lips. His eyes slid shut. "I LOVE YOU..." he whispered, his head lolling back.
Terezi made a gasping, sobbing noise. "K4RK4T? K4RK4T! NO! NO, ST4Y W1TH M3, B4BY! PL34S3, PL34S3..." Hopelessly, her arms dropped Karkat's body. "...DONT L34V3 M3... 1 N33D YOU..."
Terezi tipped her head back and screamed. "K4RK4T!"
She shakily stood, but her legs almost instantly gave out. She fell to her knees. "1 N3V3R GOT TO T3LL YOU... HOW MUCH 1 LOV3 YOU... 1M SORRY..."
Terezi ran out of the room, sobbing and out of breath. Sollux and Eridan stared, open-mouthed.
"wwell, fuck."
"what the fuck ju2t happened" Sollux asked.
"i have no idea..." Eridan mumbled. "but it's confirmed - nepeta is a crazy-ass bitch."

Gamzee travelled the hallways of the lab, occasionally hearing the scuffle of footsteps as Nepeta scurried through the vents above him. Then he heard a huge, loud shriek that obviously belonged to Terezi. "K4RK4T!"
Gamzee almost fell over. While Nepeta was not beating him, they were tied and Gamzee didn't want to die. He decided to follow Terezi's sob.
But then fate granted him hope. Terezi came barreling past him, sobbing her eyes out. He threw out his robotic arm, slamming it into her face.
"hey terezi," Gamzee mumbled, pulling out his trusty juggling clubs. They were splattered with royal purple blood from when he killed Feferi. "HOW'S IT MOTHERFUCKING HANGING."
"G-G4MZ33..." Terezi stuttered, before she turned and bolted. Shrieking with laughter, Gamzee began to follow, his irises glowing indigo.
Rustle. Gamzee almost stopped dead in his tracks. Was that a...
Rustle. It came from above.
Terezi rounded a corner, but Gamzee was too preoccupied with the noises to notice. His sprint turned into an amble in a split-second. He stopped, listening intently for the sounds.
Terezi stopped, realising her pursuer had fallen behind. Panting, she slowed to a halt, disoriented. She sniffed, trying to get a sense of where she was. "FUCK... WH3R3 TH3 H3LL 4M 1?"
":33 < you're with me," a muffled voice snarled.
"you're in a motherfucking trap," Gamzee called.
":33 < an ambush, if you will," Nepeta giggled. The vent just above Terezi's head swung open with a creak. Terezi leapt back just as Nepeta landed on all fours in front of her.
":33 < hello, terezi," Nepeta giggled. ":33 < feeling sad still? dr claws can make it all better." Her blue curved claws caused sparks on the metal floor as she scraped them along it.
"WE'RE GOING TO MOTHERFUCKING KILL YOU TOGETHER, MOTHERFUCKER." Gamzee twirled his juggling baton casually. "and it'll be a whole motherfucking load of motherfucking fun."
"YOU'LL H4V3 TO C4TCH M3 F1RST!" Terezi taunted, leaping into a somersault over Gamzee's head. She ran along the steel path, turning back the way she came.
She dove into the wand room, panting worse than before. Eridan and Sollux were still there, talking aimlessly about Feferi.
"you knoww, I envvy you, sollux - terezi? wwhat the fuck are you doing back here?"
"oh hey tz" Sollux greeted. "what2 up"
"N3P3T4," Terezi wheezed. "4ND G4MZ33. TOG3TH3R. COM1NG. 4FT3R. US."
As if on cue, Nepeta leapt through the hidden door, smiling. ":33 < guess who!" she sang.
Sollux and Eridan screamed and ran out through the door, leaving Terezi cornered.
