BLOODLINES

CHAPTER 3

 
   "You are such a fool" a sad and angry girl's voice came in.  She was in tears as she grabbed a boy's cloth and raised him up to the wall. "Lilly Lilly , please let me down"Zillan begged her. "I should let you down?" Lilly said. She let him go and he fell down hitting  his back side hard.
    Zillan pouted his mouth in pain. Lilly Bent down and looked at Zillan with an innocent and confused look. She then placed her Palm on Zillan's face and rubbed it gently . She looked at Zillan's face with amazement,"So soft",she said . She then looked at Zillan furiously in the eye.                                                                                                                                               
     Zillan started to shiver in fear,he began to shake his head indicating a no. Tears were visible on his Whole face and he had started to cry like a baby. The next thing that happened  were hot slaps that were rained on his face that broke him and his cry could be heard by everybody outside.
     Merab who was fast asleep quickly stood up,  he went to the nearest window checking if his friend was dead already. Seeing what was taking place inside, he shook his and went back to sleep quietly.
     "Is she beautiful that you would want to leave me?"Lilly asked. Zillan Just looked at Lilly's baby face and thought how cute her face was. He then blushed as tears rolled down his chicks. As for  Shela, she has a serious face that fits a queen and the colour of her skin is really out of the world, he then smiled and Lilly stood up angrily and kicked him.
      "You dare to think of her in my presence?" Lilly asked as she fell on her knees crying. Zillan just laid on the floor and whispered to himself that he might die in this relationship. He questioned himself mentally if he was being abused? He started to cry again and this time seriously.
      They two Sat there crying like babies,a pair of eyes just looked at them with his month open. He was so horrified. He started to cry silently for his friend and wondered how the gods could create two stupid idiots.
        Zillan looked at  Lilly and  hugged her and told her that even though they bring thousands of women he will still chose her because her name has already been engraved in his heart. Zillan then kissed her and her tummy. "I shall make sure you be my wife before you give birth to our daughter" Zillan promised Lilly.
         "If your Mother  asks how you got all this injuries, tell her Merab caused it". Lilly hated Merab because if he could control Shela none of this will be happening. Zillan just nodded and left.
         Outside, Merab was cleaning his eyes when Zillan come out looking lost. Merab walked to him placing a hand on his shoulder and Zillan looked at him and ordered for them to go. They carried their bags and started to walk slowly.                                                                      
         As they walked back to the palace,no one spoke a word. Merab kept glancing at Zillan and decided to ask,"Who caused the marks on your body Zillan"? Zillan stopped and looked at Merab in an undefinable look."Lilly" Zillan answered
         Merab shook his head"Your girlfriend has serious anger problems, She's becoming worse. She wasn't like this.if I remember she was angrily calmer" said Merab. "Angrily calmer?"Zillan asked looking back at him. "Are you going to tell your mom I caused your Marks and little cuts?"
          Zillan made a depressing sound as he sat on the ground placing his hands on his face. Merab did the same and placed his hand on Zillan 's shoulder and asked him what was wrong. Zillan looked at Merab in the eyes then smiled. He then looked at the sky  for some minutes before he closed his eyes.
         Zillan went ahead to tell Merab that he is confused about Lillian and Shela. Merab frowned but insisted Zillan should continue. Zillan said that he loves Lilly but he's having feelings for Shela now .Merab quickly stood up in surprise then asked Zillan to explain what he meant by having feelings.
         Zillan also stood up in surprise. He saw the anger in Merab 's eyes. Zillan tried to explain himself saying that it is love but he's still loves Lilly deeply. Zillian just looked at Merab and gave him an apple. Zillan said he knows Merab loves Shela more than anyone would and he wouldn't want to break his only best friend's heart. He can't choose to spoil their relationship. Zillan also turned his back and asked if Merab still remembers how they met.
