BLOODLINES

CHAPTER 5

                     Shela's POV 
       
       
        The kingdom has  turned into a show full of sorrow, suspense and  just full of drama, not excluding me cause it seems I'm The protagonist, I think. The things that are happening are just to much especially in my family.  My wedding is in the next two months and some weeks. Merab had promised me it won't take place but I don't believe him cause he isn't doing anything to make it come through.
        As for Zillian, he tried calling off the wedding but it shifted From five months to two months and some weeks, the elders had said the sooner the better cause the queen is ill and  the king can't rule without his queen. I had started to hate him. No wonder Merab keeps on being dumber when he has a friend who is dumb. They just keep on sharing their dumb virus.
        As for my household, my twin brothers are acting strange towards each other, the don't communicate nor play as the use too. The only thing they do is greet each other and Neil's character has changed . He's no more the jolly Neil that plays games with people and smiles or laughs anymore. He's now serious and any joke being said he doesn't find it funny or he gives a little smirk which is hard to notice.
        Maybe it's because of the words father say that made him change. Calling him a failure and how he wishes he never had him as a first son which resulted in him not coming home sometimes. We rarely see him and anytime we ask he says "My work as a charmer requires my time". Neil had become a general now and had taken the charm profession higher. Now most Takians admire charmers and they would like to become one without any fears and I'm so proud of him.
        Neil had introduced a girl to the family but father had rejected her. He had embarrassed her during dinner even though she didn't show it, Neil still followed her to gods know where and didn't show up until next week. She's also a charmer and I  remember her being at the New year party. Her name was Halia. She had long black curly hair and she was really tall but not as tall as Neil but Shela still suspects they are still together even after the embarrassment.
         Sometimes I go to see Neil near  the boundary between Takus and The North since that's where the camp was situated. Sometimes Neil sends me telling me how dangerous it is. It's a long way but I get to meet with Merab on my way home in our secret spot and I noticed Neil usually follows Halia to her house, more like they  stay together I think.
        Something seems to be going on between Dile and Neil's glowy creature. I was surprised when it transformed into a human. I overheard her saying her fellow  glowy things are in a bond with Neil and will always be loyal because he had saved there kind . The only thing that could Free them  is if he decides to liberates them and even if Dile and her merge she might not bare him children.By the way, Father is also moving around with some  woman and introduced her as his wife to be.So much madness going on and I hope I survive it.
               
          End of Shela 's POV
      
        She was lost in her dreams and the only thing she could recollect where little images and voices that weren't familiar. Drifting  into her thoughts, she remembered a hand which came out from totally darkness pulling her mind and being into it. She could see someone dressed in a sky blue slitted gown walking in a hall. She walked with so much pride.
        She started to here voices such" as ...Bloodline .o.. rule and she hard it from the  blue dressed lady. Can't bear h....  Children talk less of .... S..." . She could hear type of cries from different women. "Amulet",She heard herself saying and then she handed the amulet round her neck to someone. She saw it slip from the hand and fell on a rock and it's cracked followed by a scream, filled with sorrow, pain and tiredness.
        "... line most be remembered... Quest to merge the thrones . If it's not accomplished your children will if they fail their children will. We shall come again to accomplish this quest of power and shall be remembered", a voice said. Shela then saw drops of tears and saw a woman crying and wiped her face but she couldn't see her face clearly.
        She than saw someone with a dagger and stabbed someone repeatedly. She then saw dead bodies and man more like a boy on a throne and part of the throne looked like Takus 's thrown."How did he sit on it without a woman", she thought. Someone's face suddenly appeared changing the whole scene. She saw Merab's face and he was smiling. "Why are you smiling Merab?", She asked. He smile even widened. "Can't you see it's our weeding Shela". Shela then smiled and nodded 'Yes it is' Shela replied. "You may now kiss your bride', a priest said.
        As she was about too, the scene changed again. She saw Neil leaving, she tried to hold him and when she finally did, she could see two bodies on the ground . She held one of the bodies in her arms and everyone looked sad but her father had an unexplainable expression . Everyone was dressed in white including her. She removed the white cloth covering the body and saw her brother Neil lifeless and had burnt scars. Shela then screamed and woke up.
