I woke up in the middle of the night. Everything that has happened so far just made my blood boil.

You could hardly even trust people these days. I just sighed I got out of bed. I looked at the clock. It was only 11 PM.

I decided to go on a nightly stroll to get some fresh air. I got my hoody and went out of the apartment building. As I was walking I saw police and firemen rush past me.

I started heading towards the café. A sickening feeling washing over me.

Running breathlessly down the road, I hear the maddening sound of police sirens and people screaming. The air was filled with smoke and the smell of gasoline.

By the time I got there it was too late. The place I once called safety. Now burned down to the core. The familiar blue and black sign that used to brighten my mornings, shattered into nothing but glass and ash.

I couldn't help, but wonder what happened. Who in their right mind, would destroy a place that created futures and memories to all who walked through it's doors.

I stood there shocked. Not knowing how to feel. I turned around and saw Christopher.

What is he doing here.
