CHAPTER TWELVE

                  The dinner party
Ciara's pov

We were seated in front of 30 guests on crystal-like tables with vase and some transparent cups filled with wine and some mermaid servant standing close by in case we need anything. fruits,sweets and some beverages were served on the table. Looking odd in front of all yet we managed to comport ourselves since the king was not very bad and aqua was assuring us that everything will be fine. We sat down, drank and dined with the rest of the team and to mine and everybody's surprise! Catherina smiled, and all because of aqua's joke and entertainment he has been giving to everyone on the table, which we all could not help but laugh our ass out.

"Is this you?....... I mean are you okay, i mean is everything alright" I said to catherina while touching her fore head and noticed aqua looking at me in surprise, like gosh is he really paying that much attention to us or to catherina. (I will make sure i confront him) i said in my mind.

"What do you mean" Catherina frowned.

"I mean you have never smiled like that in ages at least not in front of us" I replied to her while frowning in annoyance, coz she has never smiled like that not even because of any of us and not even because of celestina that does things in a goofy way. Oh! This arguement turned into a heated fight as i was annoyed but at the same time i was happy for her, but it shouldn't have been because of a boy whilst i tried everytime to make her smile but she smiled all because of a boy.

"What do you mean.... He said some thing funny and i smiled whilst you all laughed so why are you hell bent on me smilling" Catherina replied in am arrogant tone

"Hell bent?!...... I- am hell bent?!. Catherina, might i inform you that you have never smiled at us or because of us"

"Well i guess you never did something to make me smile or laugh or because at that time i was always reminded of leaving my mum all because of a fantasy that turned out to be reality" She said raising her voice at me. I just went frozen as i realized all what she just said, so i brushed it off and left her alone since i saw aqua comung this way... Again.

'I swear to God i am going to confront this man sooo hard that he will regret ever helping us cause am sooo annoyed at him, i mean it was because of him the whole thing happened although he meant well but am going give him my all out'. I said in my mind.

"Hey you" I said while walking towards aqua with rage on my face. "Youuu......... You are the one that made catherina smile yesterday weren't you. I swear to God if not because you helped us, i would make sure i break all your bones" I said to him in anger and all he did was smile back at him. I almost smiled back at his cute little smile before i remembered why i came to him.

"Oh so you mean she has never smiled, but she smiled today because of me?. " He said beaming from ear to ear.

"Yes and am not going to take it likely with you, oh and why are you always staring at us or rather at catherina? " I said to him while staring at his blue eye in expectation.

Ah..... I was actually staring at catherina. First of all, i am sorry for the troubles i put you through. The thing is that i really really like your friend catherina alot and i want you to help me" He said to me while scratching his hair.  I was hesitant at first but i finally agreed to his terms.
"Okay.... Fiiiine i will help you and don't look at me with those eyes" I mean i must say, his eyes are too innocent and charming.

We both made some plan for both of them to see each other. Aqua sent some servants to tell catherina that aqua has trapped me in his room and he won't let me out "and make it very convincing okay" He said to the servant "after all she hasn't fully liked you yet so saying you did it would spice things up" I said to him while rubbing my hands together in a scheming way.

"What! "

"Uhn no nothing, i wasn't talking to you. But it will work either way" I said while changing my expression to beign serious.

"Yeah. Okay then, let's go"

"But it is true"

"What!" He turned to me

"Nothing let's just go inside already or i think you should be the only one.
Aqua.... Pls promise you me you won't misbehave to her and make her understand you very well cause it is really difficult to get her."

"And why would you think i will do such thing" He smiled

"Cause you are a prince, this is your kingdom and you can do whatever you want and no one will question you and you don't really know us yet neither do we" I said to him in an awkward tone.

"Awwwn really, you know you really look cute when you say something like that. How bout i make you my bestfriend and i will promise to never hurt you or her" He said to me and raised my jaw up.

"You know you should really stop with these words of yours and save it for catherina or else she will dump you thinking you do it to everyone not knowing you are like that" I smiled and left him.
