Chapter 7

Taehyung returns with a bleeding heart and a stab of rejection. 

The feeling he obtained in his stomach when he gets rejected, was like all butterflies just died.

The raven-haired alpha who is always talking has now fallen awfully quiet. After his return from the brothel, alpha's scent has soured a little letting his childhood friend know that something is definitely not right with Ravenette so he called their beta friend to come. 

Yoongi always comes once a day to meet his best friend so he has alpha's home's spare key beside it's his duty to check up on their future leader alpha as being a second in command.

Taehyung was sitting on the coffee table in the garden of his house with a grim aura surrounding him. Yoongi and hobi looked at their friend from distance and talked through their eyes to speak with their gloomy friend.

Ravenette was drooped with eyes staring at particularly nothing just a void. He looked so lost in thoughts. 

"Hey, bro. Why the long face? I thought you'll come all happy and leaping after spending another night with your omega." Blue-haired beta enunciated patting raven head alpha's shoulder twice before taking sit in the second chair with yoongi.

"Yeah. What happened tae?" Yoongi also inquired in concern.

"He rejected me." Taehyung said the words without blinking. His face carried a vacant expression but there was a storm of emotions going inside his aching heart.

"What?! You confessed and he rejected you?" Hoseok asked in shock but yoongi has already show it coming so he just sighed a deep breath.

"But why?" Beta added.

"He trusts me but he can't leave that place because..." 

And then taehyung recites the whole story of the past of his omega to his friends. They listen to everything with so many sentiments and when taehyung finished, hoseok was already in tears while yoongi had a thin layer of moisture covering his glass eyes. He is normally cold and tough alpha but after heeding jungkook's story he couldn't hold himself. 

"Jungkook is very brave, tae. How did he even manage to keep it all inside this long? I have never seen such strong omega in my life." Blue-haired male responded wiping his tears.

"He is stronger than any alpha out there. And now I understand why he rejected you, tae... He has been through so much his entire life that now he can't trust anyone anymore. Any person's most trustable people in their lives are their families but when his own blood relations tossed him in the pit of hell, he lost the trust aspect from his life." Yoongi explained and the other two listen silently.

"But Hyung, jungkook doesn't hate me and he said he trusts me but he can't accept me and my feelings because he might not be able to return them." Taehyung let out staring at the pink-haired alpha.

"Taehyung, he is thinking and taking everything logically. Anyone can see the status gap between both of you. There's no future of you guys, jungkook knows this world won't let you both live in peace. It'll never understand the pure love between you two. They'll never accept him... he is aware of the fact and that is the sole reason why he's denying and rejecting your feelings." Yoongi asserted the reality and taehyung understands that his omega was worried and afraid about the future consequences.

"But Hyung, I have seen the love in his eyes, I've felt his feelings for me through the pull, those sparkling eyes and increased heartbeats can't be a lie. He feels the same way too, just afraid to accept it." Taehyung replied with eagerness.

"It doesn't matter taehyung. You can't assume everything by yourself. You've confessed your love and feelings to jungkook but he hasn't confessed back yet so no one can presume if he's truly in love with you or not. You can't force it on someone so, wait until he confesses or... forget about him." The pink-haired alpha illustrated making taehyung scowl deeply.
