the sun rises as a canopy of gold, bright amid the blue, bidding the stars to take their nightly rest. As darkness surrenders, every color changes from tinges of charcoal to a vibrancy of golden.

Jungkook woke up with only one thought keeping him awake almost all night. Thanks to the tiredness of shifting that he will be able to fall asleep or the thought of mating wasn't even letting him blink.

The constant thoughts surrounded his brain the whole night and now when the day finally arrives, blonde couldn't help but feel a little nervous about the biggest day of his life.

Occupied in his world, omega took a shower and even completed making breakfast for both. 

He was excited and happy. it wasn't just a dream anymore. Everything is real. His life truly took an unexpected yet happy turn. Taehyung painted his black and white life into the most vibrant rainbow colors. 

He couldn't thank the moon goddess enough for choosing and sending an alpha like taehyung to him. 

As if hearing omega's prayers, alpha made his way toward the table with wet hair as he just took a shower. 

"Good morning, love." Raven-haired wished before settling on the table.

"Good morning" blonde replied in a tiny shy voice.

For taehyung, it felt like a very long-awaited moment in his life which he had dreamed about. He has been waiting for this particular moment since he was mere 8 years old pup. He had seen one of his cousin sister's mating ceremony in their pack back in the day and since that day he has been waiting for his own mating ceremony.

Unfortunately, he won't be able to have the whole grand ceremony like the elder and members of the pack held because they're not in pack and the situation is not really on their side.

But taehyung didn't lose hope. He internally promised himself that once he returns to the pack with his omega, he will definitely hold proper ceremonies with all the traditional pack rituals for them. Even though it sounds impossible right now, he was determined that one day he'll be able to fulfill this wish as well.

Right now, he has a great plan in his mind and he decided to work on it after lunch. 

As the morning sun began climbing high in the sky, the couple finished their lunch in peace.

Taehyung told jungkook to take some rest and made some light extra meals for dinner in advance because they might not feel hungry once the sun sets. His husband wasn't wrong, jungkook already feels so giddy that he could barely eat lunch in all those mixed storms of feelings.

His happiness was at peak level. Finally, he's going to get mated, marked and owned by an alpha who loves him with his whole heart. He couldn't stop the butterflies from flapping their wings inside his tummy every time he think about the upcoming night.

Maybe he should stop thinking or he's gonna jump on his husband Even before the night comes. Laughing at his own thoughts, jungkook made light dishes for dinner and went to the bedroom to take some rest because he was definitely not getting any of it tonight.

His husband has been missing after their lunch but the blonde assumed he must be busy chopping wood for a fireplace which Ravenette had been thinking of lightening and he can also hear Ravenette's rustlings in the back side of the house so his omega felt relaxed without any tension.

On the other side, taehyung was done with his work and now he only have to wait for the sun to disappear in the clear blue sky. He couldn't wait for the night to come. He mentally prayed to the moon goddess to let the moon come faster just for tonight.
