The Seer's Allegory

Chapter 4

It was Saturday morning and Freya had just woken up, it was around 8 am, she had to leave the house with Cicer around 11 so she had a while, so she just sat in her bed for a while staring up at the ceiling. A few minutes later she crawled out of bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower. After her shower she styled her hair into a high ponytail with her bangs still out in front. She then used her Illusions once again to get rid of the scar on her face. She then put her pajamas back on. She didn't have to change until half an hour before they left. So she decided to go downstairs to get some breakfast. Freya saw that her Father was downstairs on the couch watching the news with a cup of coffee in his hand. She walked over and sat down next to him. He glanced over at her as she sat down and gave her a soft smile, she smiles back as her father wraps his arm around her. She smiles as they two of them continue to watch the news in silence. About half an hour later Quilla walks down the stairs walking over and giving the both of them a peck of the forehead. Freya watches as her Mother walks over to the kitchen to start making breakfast, Soon the smell of sausage wafted into the living room. Quilla walks back into the room a few minutes later letting them know breakfast was ready, Freya and Cicer got up and walked to the dining room as Quilla grabbed the plates of room and brought them over to the table, Freya walked over to the fridge, she grabbed the bottle of orange juice shaking it and setting it on the counter as she grabbed a glass and filled it with orange juice. She put the bottle back in the fridge, she then grabbed her cup and went to go sit down at the table. Quilla and Cicer had already started eating while she sat down. She then set the cup on the table and sat down next to her father. Her father sat at the head of the table while Quilla and Freya sat on either side of him. Freya started eating her breakfast which was scrambled eggs with sausage patties. As they ate breakfast they talked about their mission and what they were going to do to prepare, as well as when they were patrolling. As they soon all finished their breakfast Quilla grabbed all of their plates bringing them to the sink.

"Freya how about you go change and then we can head over to the headquarters before our missions". Cicer says while Freya nods and walks up to her room where, the hero costume she had picked out the other day was hanging on the back of her door. She smiled grabbing the costume setting it on her bed. She walked over to her dresser as she pulled out a pair of black socks. She set them on her bed and pulled off her shirt and pulled the dress over her head. She got it looking how she wanted and pulled her pajama pants off and grabbed her pants pulling them on and looked around her room a moment before finding a box, she went over to the box and grabbed two glass bottles out of the box. She stuffed them into her pockets and then went back to her bed where grabbed the arm bands, she pulled the arm bands over her wrists when she grabbed the Jacket pulling it on. She went over to the mirror in her room, fixing her hair, she smiled and walked back over to her bed and pulled on her socks, walking downstairs with her costume on, she walks over to the door where she finds her steel toed boots and pulls them on. The boots are black and reach about thigh high. She walks over the the living room to find her father sitting on the couch with his hero costume on, she walks over to him, and as he see's her he smiles, "Are you ready?" He asks her as he stands up.

"I am so ready" She says with a smile.

"Alright, then let's get going". Cicer says as he begins to walk over to the garage where his car was, closely followed by Freya. They soon got in the car Freya sitting in the passengers seat. Cicer got in the drivers seat and pressed a button that opened the garage door. He waits for it to open, and pulls out of the garage and out onto the street. She watches as he starts driving the opposite direction of where the school is. She's not used to going this direction so she watches as the tree's fly by as well as the houses that went by. She looks at the building, the office buildings, everything that went by. They soon pull into the parking lot of the Heroes headquarters. She looks up at the building, it was quite big, they got out of the car and Freya follows Cicer as they walk into the building. There was a lot going on inside the building, with different heroes running around, while Secretaries were also running around trying to find where in the world some of the heroes were. Freya looked at the chaos as she followed Cicer up to the front desk where a secretary sat typing out notes on the computer. The secretary looked up at the two of them.
