The Seer's Allegory

Chapter 6

Freya slowly woke up, she looked around to see a hospital room, she slowly blinked looking around, "Where am I?" she questioned looking around before spotting Cicer sitting next to her with a soft smile of his face.

"I'm glad you're okay Freya" Cicer says grabbed her hand. Soon enough Quilla came into the room seeing Freya awake she ran over to her side wrapping her in a hug.

Soon a doctor came in calmly to see she was awake and walked over, "Hi Freya, I'm doctor Williams, I'll be taking care of you for your time here, which won't be that long" Dr. Williams says, "Now i'm going to be doing a check up on you" He says and Freya nods as Quilla released the hug instead just holding Freya's hand as the doctor examine her. They carefully pick up her arm which she now notices has bandages wrapped around it, "Does this hurt?" He asks.

"No, just uncomfortable" Freya says looking at the bandages.

The doctor nods pulling out his clipboard writing stuff down, "Now I have a few questions for you, are you okay with me asking them?" Dr Williams asks Freya. Freya nods looking up at the doctor, "Alright first question, where did you get these scars?" He asks.

"My own powers going out of control", Freya says looking at the ground, "I don't know how though" Freya says clenching the hand that was holding Quilla's hand. Quilla looked at her with worry.

The doctor nodded, "And how did it feel when your powers were going out of control?" Dr Williams asked Freya, Freya looked up at him.

"It felt as if I couldn't control anything I was doing, when I brought the light it just burned" Freya says explaining what had happened to her during the mission.

"I see" Dr Williams said writing stuff down, "Now Freya, the injuries you sustained were not able to be healed with anyones power, We really don't understand how or why that is happening, what we really think that happened is because the injuries you sustained were from your own powers the, the powers we are using won't be able to work on them" The Doctor explained as Freya glances down at the bandages on her arms.

"That's so confusing," Freya says, "Can I see if I can heal them?" Freya asks the doctor.

The doctor looks at her quizically, "You're the one who healed all of the civillians at the site of the explosion right?"

"I was" Freya says

"Why not then, let's try it" Dr Williams says with a small smile, "Just don't get grossed out when I unwrap the bandages" The doctor says as he starts unwrapping the bandages on one of her arms, she saw the burns on her arms as the doctor unwrapped the bandages, She brought her hand up to her arms as a pink glow emitted frim her hands it didn't seem as uncontrollable as it had been the other day. She saw it was working, but not as well as it usually should take. She seemed frustrated after a while. The burn scars weren't as bad as they had been before. She looked up at the doctor, he nods as he grabs some clean bandages, "I'm surprised you were able to do that, a lot of our doctors tried when you first came in" The doctor says as he starts wrapping the clean bandages over her arm.

"Well I guess I push myself a lot with my powers" Freya says. Cicer glanced at her with a small smile.

The doctor nods, "Are you alright to heal your other arm?" Doctor williams asked.

"Yea, I can do it" Freya says looking up at the Doctor. Doctor Williams nods and starts unwrapping Freya's bandages on the other arm. They repeat the process of Freya healing it which took quite a while again and then the Doctor wrapping her arm again with clean bandages.

Freya looks at the Doctor as he finished, "You should be good to go home sometime today, your injuries aren't to bad now that you've healed your arms" Doctor Williams says as he grabs a clipboard from the end of the bed, writing stuff down on it before setting down on the end of the bed. "I'll go get the discharge papers" Doctor Williams says walking out of the room.
Cicer and Quilla sat down in the chairs in the room, the Doctor soon came back with a few papers he hands them to Cicer, since he was Freya's guardian. He started signing the papers, "Alright your all set to go home" Doctor Williams says to Freya taking the Discharge papers from Cicer and walking out of the room.
