The Seer's Allegory

Prologue

"Cyrusssss" A red haired girl whined, "When will we be able to get our first questttt" She whines flopping down on the couch.

"Freya, you know you're too young for that, you're only 13" The darker haired kid responded to the girl.

"But it's sooooo boooooring when I'm not out doing something" Freya says and buries her head in the pillow on the couch.

Cyrus laughs, "How about we go out and find some villains to fight" He says this is the perfect time to do this, I'm sorry Freya

"Yea! Let's do it!" She yells excitedly.

Cyrus smiles, "Ok. Let's go then "he says, grabbing her hand and heading towards the door, "Oh! Before we go, I have something to give you" He says and stops them outside the building. He pulls something out of his pocket and pulls out a bracelet.

"Oooh! They are so pretty!" Freya says.

Cyrus smiles, "They're bracelets for you and me to know we're always together". He says and gently grabs her wrist and puts it on. He presses the button on it and it vibrates, "This will make mine vibrate so we always know the other is ok" He says and smiles putting his around his wrist

Freya smiles widely and jumps up to hug him, "Oh I love it Cyrus!"

He hugs back and smiles. "Ok, let's go!" Cyrus says letting go of the hug and running in a random direction he secretly pulls out his phone and shares his location to someone.

As Freya followed Cyrus she looked around the city. They slowed down when they got a few streets away. They started laughing together simultaneously. They walked around just looking for any type of villain.

"Hey! Cyrus A cafe! Let's stop by!" Freya says smiling.

Cyrus smiles gently, "Sure let's go" He laughed

Freya ran over to the cafe, Cyrus ran after her. When they walked in they heard a voice call "Welcome to Nessy's Cafe!" As Freya looked at the pastries. She orders a chocolate muffin, while Cyrus orders a coffee. They sat at a table finishing their stuff.

Cyrus pulled out his phone to check on something. He glanced down at it and looked up and out of the window of the cafe. He jumped up in surprise seeing a Villain attacking the surrounding area. Freya looked at him and jumped up as he ran out of the cafe. There was a faint blue glow around his hands.

Freya chased after him, dragging in light from around her. Cyrus jumped at the villain using his Illusions so the villain didn't see him. He dragged the light from the fire the villain was creating and manipulated it toward the villain.

Freya pulled light from the fire and made a ball of light and attached a string of light to it making it act like a whip. She yelled at Cyrus for him to move out of the way as he ducks and she whips the light towards the villain.

The villain falters at the two attacks happening right next to each other.

Freya jumps over towards Cyrus before fire engulfs around the 2. Freya looks at Cyrus with a quizzical look. He nods and She looks at the fire around them going up to it she starts humming a song. It was in a major key and had an intense tone to it, the music calming down towards the end as the fire migrated towards one spot in front of Freya. She looks at the Villain and he looks shocked at this. The fire balled up into a sphere radiating warmth. Freya let it levitate in her palm for a moment before grabbing something with her other hand. She grabbed a glass bottle, opening it with her teeth and manipulating the fire into the bottle, she then seals the bottle.

The villain by this point had come running towards Freya before an explosion went off between all three of them.

Cyrus looks over at where Freya had been a few seconds ago. She was now locked away by the fire from the explosion. He looked over at the villain. His eyes glowed blue and fire surrounded the two.

Freya ran over to the fire trying to run through it but it burned her and she backed away. Freya stares at the fire and watches as the fire grows.

She could hear a fight going on but she couldn't tell what was going on behind the fire. She realized she was also surrounded by fire and needed to find a way out. She could use music ability again but she was worried she could hurt Cyrus since the fire could go towards him. She was scared of what was going down on the other side before the fire grew beyond what she could fathom, Freya stares at the fire in shock, her eyes glassed over, "CYRUS" she yells running back towards the fire before she got held back by a strong pair of arms. "NO! Let Me Go!" She cries out.

"Freya...." the familiar voice of her adoptive father says.

"NO! PLEASE!" She cries before collapsing in his arms and starts sobbing, "I'm sorry.." She manages to get out.

The fire dies down and her adoptive father pulls Freya to his chest, he stares at the fire of where his son just was, he felt a tear run down his face.

"Don't be sorry..." he comforts her "It's not your fault, it was the villain that did it" He hugs her tightly and she hugs back.

He looks over at one of his sidekicks signaling them to put the fire out. He releases the hug and kneels down to Freya's, she looks at him with tears in her eyes, "Can I pick you up?" He asked. Freya nods and he picks her up. He gets them out of the fire. He starts bringing her home as the ash behind them dances in the wind.

A shadow appears in the Alleyway near the fire, "I'm sorry Freya.." The shadow mutters, before disappearing into the shadows.
