"Bailey?" Jeremiah asked concerned. He looked towards the person that I was looking at and then at me. "Are you ok?"
"You do realize that my name isn't Bailey, right?" I asked and looked at Jeremiah with a raised eyebrow while I took another sip of my beer.
Jeremiah bit back a small smile and nodded in confirmation. "I know," he said, "but that is what I am going to keep calling you if you don't tell me your name."
I held back an eye roll but didn't say a word while I took another sip of my beer.
"Or you can tell me your name, and then I can call you by that." He gave me a pointed look, and I snorted and shook my head.
"Not going to happen," I replied coldly. "You have to guess it." I glanced at Reif again before I looked away from him again, pursing my lips in annoyance.
"Anyway, why are you looking at the guy like that?" Jeremiah asked and looked at Reif before he looked at me. He furrowed his brows and cocked his head while he studied me. "Do you know him?"
I didn't respond and took another sip of my beer while I looked away from him.
"Bailey," Jeremiah said and nudged me, and I held back an eye roll while I scowled. "Please. Do you know him?"
"It doesn't matter," I said with a small grunt while I pulled my beanie closer down my head while I shook my head. "Are you going to stick with Bailey?" I asked, changing the subject and raised an eyebrow while I looked at him again.
Jeremiah scowled and narrowed his eyes while he looked at me before he decided that it wasn't something he needed to push. "Yes," he said instead before he nodded in confirmation. "You look like a Bailey."
I gave him a weird look but didn't respond while I shrugged and looked away from him again.
Jeremiah smirked and dipped his head closer to his chest. He didn't say a word and looked over my shoulder when Reif walked over to us. "'Sup?" he asked with a nod while he raised an eyebrow in question.
"Hello," Reif said and sat down on my other side pretending not to know me.
I held back an eye roll, feeling the testosterone building while the two men sized each other up with me sitting between the two of them.
"Hello," Jack said while he walked over to us with water for Jeremiah. His whole body was tense, and I could tell that he was not liking the fact that I had two men on either side of me.
"Hi," Reif said. "Can I get a beer?"
I had to stop myself from looking at him with narrowed eyes when he asked for a beer.
Since when did he drink..?
Jack held back an eye roll and pushed the water to Jeremiah while he nodded. "Sure," he said. "It will be right up." He dipped his head before he walked away from us, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes and scowled.
Asshole...
Reif glanced at me from the corner of his eye before he looked away from me. He did not say a word while he waited for Jack to give him the beer.
"You're new," Jeremiah pointed out, and Reif looked at him. He held out his hand in greeting. "Jeremiah. That's Bailey." He pointed at me, and Reif looked between the two of us and raised an eyebrow in question, amused.
I held back an eye roll but shook my head. "My name isn't Bailey," I said, giving Jeremiah a pointed look. "Why are you still calling me that?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question.
"Because you aren't going to tell me what your name is, and I don't know what else to call you," he replied and shrugged, and Reif bit back a small snort.
