Angelique did not awake last night. Today was the day though. I stood in the room she was in and waited.

Everyone was gathered in the main area of the Cullen house and stayed quiet, listening for the moment my daughters heartbeat stopped. I had my wife on the phone, who had Athenadora with her. Both queens were waiting for me to confirm that she made it.
I then smelled dogs outside and I looked towards the back yard to see 2 of the shifters in human form. From what my daughter has told me they're names are Seth and Leah Clearwater.
"Why are there wolves outside?" Tanya Denali asked. "They're her friends. Their bond is so strong." Marcus answered before I could. "If anyone else has anything to say about them then there will be a price to pay." I informed the rest of The Denali Coven. My coven is used to them by now and we owe them for protecting my daughter and her soul sister.
Not long after my daughters heartbeat stopped. Everyone stopped what they were doing, and we waited for any sign of Angelique awakening. Just then out of the corner of my eye I saw black speed off. I heard a collective unneeded sigh of relief. "Sully, Dora, she's officially one of us now." I spoke into the phone in my hand. "Oh thank whatever god there is." my wife spoke. I bid both women a goodbye then and hung up.
I stepped outside then to wait for Angeliques return. Both shifters looked in my direction, "Our Alpha isn't really happy about how this turned out, but she has grown on him and understood the situation." Leah spoke. "Tell him that I appreciate what was said. It is not like it was planned for her to turn here. The original plan was to take her back to Italy." I explained to the two.
"You should know this though sir." Seth spoke a bit nervously. I could her how nervous he was with his heartbeat. "What is it young one?" I asked the youngest wolf. "Jacob has plans to kill Angelique now that she's a vampire. He says it is her fault Bella is dead." he answered.
This angered me. Just when we all thought all the threats in my daughters life have been eliminated, this damn wolf just doesn't know when to quit. "Sam has kicked him from the pack, so Jacob maybe lingering on The Cullen territory." Seth said.
Alice came outside then, "I already informed Edward. Emmett and Jane just left to go find the two. Demetri has left to inform Felix as well." she spoke. "Will he strike?" I asked. "That I can't see unless Angelique is with me. If she comes back, we can try that experiment again." Alice answered.
About fifteen minutes later Angelique and Edward returned from her first hunt. I figured she would hunt The Cullen/ Denali lifestyle. Her red eyes are beautiful though.
My princess approached me and then just looked at me. I held out one of my hands to her wondering if her gift still worked.

She looked down at my offered hand and slipped hers into it. I overlapped it with my other hand and my gift went into effect. However, before I could see anything, I saw nothing. "Mi angelo, could you try to lower your shield?" I asked. Slowly I started to see things in her mind then. Then came the memories of her first hunt and as I thought, she would be going the animal diet. I am concerned about how it could impact her gift though. Animal blood weakens gifts in a way.
I am in no means wanting her to come back to Italy and lock her away for her gift. That is not the reason why I kept her around either. She is still a newborn, she may not have control.

I removed my hand from my fathers and saw a smile on his face. "Immortality becomes you my sweet daughter." he spoke. "We should go inside. It's not safe out here." Edward spoke from behind us. I knew he was talking about the rouge wolf Jacob whose been lurking from what I heard from Emmett when him and Jane found us.
We all went inside the house and I saw the familiar faces of The Denali Coven. They were a bit on edge though and I figured it had to be because of my newborn status. I noticed Leah and Seth were in the house now as well. I could also smell them, but strangely it didn't bother me.
My great aunt approached me and she was smiling. "I get to have my real family with me forever now." she said. I hugged her gently, trying to control my newborn strength. I almost broke Edward originally after I awoke.
When I let Alice go I looked towards The Denalis, "Ladies and Eleazar. It's good to see you all again." I greeted. A curly haired blonde woman approached, "Princess Angelique. You are all grown up now and one of us. You look fantastic by the way." she said.

"You're too kind. It's Tanya right, if I remember correctly?" I asked. She nods, "Over there is Kate and Carmen." she answered pointing behind her, leaving the male as Eleazar. "Right. Wait there is one of you missing." I realized. She explained where the missing member was, and I was a little angry because Irina wanted to wipe out the pack.
I worked on controlling my emotions. This was going to be a struggle. My self-control around human blood was so impeccable. From what I heard from Edward, there was a human near where we hunted, who was bleeding, but I didn't smell it whatsoever.
I then thought of something. Irina wanted to kill the wolves right? Right now we have a rouge one roaming about and wants all of us dead. "Kate? Is there a way to contact Irina?" I asked the Psychic electrokinetic vampire. "She should still be at home." Kate answered. "What are you thinking Angel?" Edward asked. "She wants to kill the wolves right?" I questioned going over to Leah and Seth. Everyone nods, "We can't let her kill the pack, but there is a threat of one...." I said.
"So you're saying that we should have her kill Jacob then?" Leah asked. I looked at the only female shifter, "First of all, we would have to talk to his father. I believe he is one of the elders right and the son of the chief the coven formed a treaty with right?" I asked now looking at Carlisle. The coven leader nods, "Then what? We could face a lot of issues down the line." Emmett asked. "Once we explain to his father what has been going on as far as him now coming after me for no reason, bringing up how the treaty is still valid from what I was told. I understand its more so because I am a newborn. I totally understand that." I spoke. I realized it went off topic briefly, "Anyways, should he be okay about it, then we contact Irina and explain the issue. Call it a compromise. She doesn't kill the pack, but she can still kill Jacob." I finished. The Denali coven excused themselves and went outside to talk about what I offered. This did concern one of their coven mates.
I looked at Leah and Seth then, "Does this bother any of you in some way?" I asked. Seth frowned, "For the longest time I looked up to Jacob." he answered. He continued, "Then he shifted and his whole personality switched. I heard about how he acted about believing Bella was his. He never imprinted on anyone." "Yet he too is a victim of Isabellas manipulations." I said. "Now he's paying for it." Leah spoke.
I looked towards the kings then, "Am I handling this alright?" I asked them. "You are doing so well principessa. You have not yet lost any emotional control." Marcus answered. "Your self- control is amazing as well." my father spoke. I saw Caius nod and I smiled a little at my family.
