As promised, somehow, it's a miracle that Jisung shows up to his next appointment a week later. This time, he's brewing with a newfound sense of exhilaration that hadn't seemed to die down since his last visit with Doctor Lee.

God. Doctor Lee just had to be of another species, because Jisung didn't know how a human like him could look so crazily divine. Truth be told, it had Jisung shivering the rest of the week.

Recently, his thoughts had been spiraling elsewhere as his memory traced back to unilluminated cat eyes, dimmed with professionalism in his irises. That very stare looked right through him as graceful yet hefty hands pressed into his skin.

His fingertips burned and left their presence on Jisung's skin, had him reminiscing about his touch for the days leading up to his next appointment. He was so sure that he craved more of the feeling that stirred in his tummy when Minho got close to him to observe, always giving him clean, half-smiles right afterwards.

Like he felt the need to express his delight when he touched Jisung.

At least, that was what he would definitely love to believe. Suddenly, he found that he was excited to attend these appointments. At least when it wasn't Gerald Hardacre crowding his business with an outrageous stink cloud sprouting from his big being.

Seriously. Jisung wouldn't even think about stepping foot into this clinic ever again if that guy had continued to check him for endless weeks to come.

But this new guy...

Oh, he was good. Even though his first appointment with him was short-lived, it had him curious about more.

Which is why, this morning, he had avidly rushed to get ready and phoned Felix to say that he was going to his therapy today so his blue-haired friend wouldn't have to worry. Felix had displayed his astonishment through a mix of gasps and suspicious drawls. He already knew that Jisung was totally up to something already.

And that is because he showed up a day earlier from his original appointment.

There he was, legs practically shaking in giddying excitement as he awaited his name to be called.

Amelia had been rather bewildered to find Jisung back so soon. She knew how much he dreaded this place, and she was even more muddled as Jisung explained his reasons for being early.

'My personal trainer is moving our session to tomorrow morning instead,' he had lied with a rather giddy smile, eyes trained over at the hallway as if awaiting someone's presence.

The receptionist, though still sceptical of the random arrival of Jisung at the clinic, only sighed and broke off into a soft smile. She informed Jisung about how Dr. Lee had his own office now, before beginning to type. Sweet Amelia was just too lovely for her own good.

Jisung darts up from his seat when he is called and follows the assistant to the new room. He walks past Doctor Hadacre's old office and almost breaks out into the happiest of tears because he knows he will never have to suffer in there again.

He's led right into the amiable embrace of Minho's office. The door closes with a soft thud as he sits down in one of the chairs, taking the time to truly take in the magnificent space Minho is now working in.

He notices how, unlike Doctor Hardacre's, Doctor Lee's office is gratifying and unblemished. There were lights embedded into the walls to give off a cozy glow that made Jisung feel so welcome. And again, there was just an emitted aroma that was so much more pleasant in here; like something along the lines of cloying honey and roasted oats.

Jisung's gaze is burning holes into the bed in the corner of the room when he hears a soft knock that startles him out of his trance. He straightens up in his chair and turns his body to face the door, watching as Doctor Lee, in all his marvellous glory, treks into the room and sets Jisung's heartbeat off into a faster pace.
