"Wanna get out of here?" I whisper in Lorrie's ear. A slight blush creeps on her face, which she tries to hide– but fails.
She stares at me in silence, shock, or both, making me wonder if I've overstepped. "...yes" She says, drifting her hand from my neck to my arm and casting a curious gleam. Her smooth, lightly freckled face and her soft pink lips...
I almost missed it when she agreed. I quickly grabbed her arm and headed out to the nearest balcony entrance. I close the door, silently locking it. Thank goodness these doors aren't see-through. I think to myself as I place one arm wrapped around her waist and one hand stroking the bottom of her lips.
"This... this is so wrong," Lorrie says, almost in a whisper. I slowly kiss her, making sure she knows how long I want it to last before I take her mask off. Her pale, and smoothly freckled face is now turning into different shades of red and pink. I know she doesn't like to be vulnerable, but I also know that she doesn't like Will... I also know she likes me...
I just hope she doesn't take it too seriously when she finds out I don't intend on liking her much longer...
This is JUST a mission... nothing more.

The rest of the night is a bit of a blur, but when I see a sleeping Lorelei under my arm in my bed– all of our actions and doings are clear.
I gently move out of the bed, trying to not wake her, carrying her out of the bed and quickly moving her into Will's bedroom. After all, the mission is over. Our "love story" is over. She was just a pawn in a much larger game. She was replaceable.
"How did she do...?" Will asks groggily as I place Lorrie beside him. I scoff, rolling my eyes before facing him.
"She failed... miserably," I reply, laughing a bit before seeing the look on Will's face. A mix of sadness and betrayal. "Though she's really good with... you know. Maybe she can be a mistress...?" I suggest, pointing down to my pants.
Will rolls his eyes before stroking Lorrie's hair away from her face. "Alright. Thanks." He says before sighing and going back to sleep.
I walked out of his room. Too bad people don't see this side to Will... yes he's evil, manipulative and stubborn. But he's also kinda caring in his murderous way. I think as I get into my bed. The bed feels a lot bigger now that it's just me and my thoughts surrounding the duvet. I turn over, facing the bright digital clock on my nightstand, 3:02 AM reads, as I sniff the air, Lorrie's scent still present in the room. Too bad I can't enjoy it. Or her. Because from now henceforth, she belongs to Will. I wish she'd understand...

"Rise and shine!" Manuel yells, opening the curtains of our shared room, the golden sun now shining on my face.
Groaning, I cover my face with a pillow– which does nothing. Absolutely nothing. "Manuel... close the fucking curtains," I complain, shielding my eyes from the burning sun. Manuel laughs as I slowly get up from bed.
"You're late. You're lucky that it was me who found you... if the boss found you-" Manuel mimics a knife slicing his neck. "That'd be it for you. Anyways, get up, get dressed, the boss has some news for us so..." Manuel says, slapping my back to get me up. I shoo him away and start changing into my uniform. I blow dry my hair just good enough so my mullet bounces on the top of my hair. I put my shoes on and head downstairs, where the rest of the team, Will's entourage and Lorrie are standing.
"...so as you know, Lorrie and I will be getting married in a week so I just wanted to let you know. There's a lot of planning since the event will be held here, so you guys must all be on your best behavior. Also... I've invited some rich folks to help marry Lorrie and me so that some of you guys can head over to their houses and rob them for all their worth!" Will continue as I stand there mouth agape... marrying Lorrie? After she cheated? And she's not dead? That's new.
I glance at Lorrie, who smirks suggestively towards me and then look back at Will. Crap... I need to break off "our relationship" before she marries Will... or she might reject him right there and then. I think to myself before Will dismisses us.
"Care to tell me why Will's girlfriend– er, fiancée kept looking at you?" Manuel asks, raising his eyebrow in question. His black dreadlocks blocked his eyes. "Don't tell me that you're doing another one of these... dumbass missions, toying with women again?" He questions.
My silence answers his question, leaving his mouth agape. Wow. He mouths before leaving and heading off to meet up with the rest of the guards. I stand there in silence, finding something to do, taking care of my boss's wedding, trying to avoid his fiancée and finish a mission– easy enough.
"You're late," Lorrie says, sidling up way too close for comfort. I move a step further away from her, hoping she gets the memo, but as oblivious as she may be, I have to tell her whether I like it or not.
"Lorrie... I..." I stutter, Lorrie, raising her eyebrow in confusion as I try to find words to sugarcoat what I'm trying to say. "It was fake. Our little relationship. Everything was fake. It was a mission– er, more of a test, really, but it wasn't real. I'm sorry if you had any genuine feelings for me but they have to end, THIS has to end. Whatever WE are... is over." I say to her, sighing, I don't wait for an answer or a reply. I turn around and find the rest of the guards. At least now I know that Lorrie will have no choice but to marry Will.
Whether she likes it... or not.
