I stare at my bride-to-be. Her brown hair is done in a big, messy bun. She doesn't know she's going to marry me. But I do. You'd think Lorelei's death would hurt a bit more than it did, but it opened new doors for me to explore. Rodriguez... she's been with me this whole journey. She's basically my partner-in-crime, and that's a cute name to call your partner. Right?

"Rodriguez..." I call for her as I quietly open the door to her room. She rolls her eyes at me and goes back to what she was doing. "That's no way to greet your partner, hm?"

That seems to get her attention. She places her computer to the side and looks up at me. "I beg your pardon... there is no we, we are nothing– ever." She mutters in disgust before going back to her work.

"Well..." I pull out a marital for elopement, with her signature placed right under. "That's not what this says."

I hand her the paper and her face turns all kinds of disgusted. "That isn't even my signature. My name doesn't have two Z's dumbass."

I glance at the paper, back at Rodriguez and grin. "It doesn't matter, it shows that we're legally married. So your little petty fight about your name is irrelevant, Princess. I hope you know. Oh, and by the way, there's a masquerade ball that you need to attend." I add on with a smile.

"Okay... so why aren't you dressed?" She asks, finally paying full attention to me.

I grin at her, leaving her uneasy. I move aside to reveal Malachi. Who's dressed up in his suit and mask.

"Me." Malachi says, shooting daggers to Rodriguez. "I know what you've done, and who you are. You aren't Lorrie so I will not be friendly, we're strictly asked to find and capture a diamond from the event. Got it?" Malachi commands. Rodriguez stares at me but with no response.

"Let's go steal a fucking diamond."
