Peppers pov:

I walked around, looking at the peice of clothing on the floor. it was a sweater, a white fluffy sweater. I picked it up and sniffed it, it smelled like someone I used to know. I wore it, my strong sharp wings ripping the back of it, it felt nice and comforting. I didn't know when this sweater got here but some human probably dropped it.

I stayed still, hiding myself in the bushes. I pounced forward catching a hare with my claws and killing it instantly. I flew into the cave with my kill, the overgrown vines on the entrance felt a little damp.

"I'm back."

I didn't like talking, I don't like how my voice sounds.

"What took you so long." Glowing yellow eyes stared back at me from the darkness.

"I couldn't hunt the human but.. I got you a hare." I said, placing the hare on a nearby rock.

"A hare? How pathetic, it's been three days and you still can't hunt something else!?" I flinched

"well, why don't you hunt humans yourself since it's so much easier for you then!?" he growled at me.

"I'm. Hurt." I rolled my eyes

"oh walk it off." Pepper said angrily

I watched as he hobled and struggled to even crawl up to me, his left wing still broken.

"I can't move properly you know." He said as he took the hare from the rock and started to eat, he sat down, looking at me with those judging eyes that I hated oh so much.

"Where did you get that." He said, referring to my sweater

"I found it lying on the ground, some human probably left it." He got closer, sniffing me

"hmm, smells like the same human you let go of two days ago." He mumbled

"I-I didn't let her go okay!? I got distracted." I stuttered, blushing a little.

After he was done gobbling up his food, he yawned and leaned on the wall.

"You should be glad I didn't kill you when I had the chance."

I rolled my eyes "whatever, I'm going outside."

I swear I hate trophy so much, I was only staying with him because I needed time to adjust to my new form. sometimes I would randomly return to my human form and struggle to do it again afterwards. I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I looked horrible, I hated the way I looked. I wondered around, trying to see if there was any other things to hunt.

I was interrupted by the smell of a human, I climbed up a tree and disguised myself. There were two humans, but I could only smell one. I sniffed carefully, realizing that the other one was not human, but one of us.

I could tell that he could sense me, I stayed still, trying to stay hidden. I was shocked when he turned and looked directly at me, how did he know I was here? Before I could attack he grabbed his friend and left. He was probably like me, a human that got infected and turned into a monster, but I'm confused at how he could stay in his human form for so long.

I wondered around some more, I couldn't find that one strange looking human I found two days ago, her hair was white and his eyes looked kind of purple, she looked beautiful. I could faintly smell her, she kinda smelled like roses. I finally stumbled on the edge of the forest, normally I don't go venturing on the large open space but I could smell something familiar around.

I flew close to this abandoned building that me and trophy used to try and get into. The smell was more clear now, there were a lot of new humans in there. I crawled up the building, peaking on the bullet proof and fairly strong glass that they use to gaze outside I tried to peak through the gap on the curtains. I didn't expect to see so many humans in one place, they seem to be talking to eachother, it was like a meeting.

My eyes landed on one human, that one girl I have encountered two days ago. She looked pale and tired, I couldn't help but smile. I gasped when I heard a voice.

"What are you doing."

I turned to look at the creature that was on the roof of the hotel, it had soft feathers that shone like silver, four eyes that glowed red.

"Hi silver, just looking at the humans, for strategy and stuff." I nervously laughed. Silver hummed

"still taking care of that grumpy bat?" I sighed as I got on top of the hotel

"yeah.. I have to.." I looked back at him, I couldn't help but notice something around his neck

"what's that?" I asked, Silver sighed

"the humans put this on me, I can't get it off." Silvers voice was tired and low. I inched closer, looking at the device

"maybe trophy can help take it off?" I suggested

"I suppose." Silver stretched his wings, dropping down and gliding onto the forest, I followed behind him.

We both flew above the trees, stopping and landing at the entrance of the cave. Silver went in before me, some of his feathers dropping onto the ground. I watched as trophy inspected the device, watching as it glowed red in the dim cave. Trophy placed his claws on it, breaking it off in one clean swoop. Silver rubbed his neck, feeling sore.

"Thanks." Silver said, looking at trophy with a soft smile. I swear to god they are so gay. I picked the device up

"looks like it could be a tracker." I said, examining the broken device.

"I'll throw it away Incase it still works." I got out of the cave, going far away from the cave and dropping it on a river.

I got back and saw the two passionately making ou-(J IM JUST JOKING YOU GUYS...)

I got back and saw that silver had given trophy a gift, it was a little coin. Silver had a habit of hoarding.

"Oh look at that, shiny coin." I looked at the coin closely

"hey! It's my coin!" Trophy hissed

"let me look at it-"

"MINE" trophy growled. we ended up fighting like two cats just because of a stupid coin.

"LET GO."

"NO!.." *feral cat noises*
