Mephone4 sighed, he had been hiding in this chamber for so long. Him and mepad were running out of chargers and batteries to stay alive, and toilet was also running out of food.

"Mephone, what's wrong?" Mepad asks, walking up to mephone.

Mephone was on the corner of the room, curled up and facing the wall.

"I'm fine.." mephone replied, his voice devoid of any emotion

"Are you sure?" Mepad asks, he puts a hand on mephone's shoulder

Mephone4 pushes mepad away

"I said I'm fine!" He yelled.

Mepad was shocked, mephone has never acted like this.

"Mephone! You're being completely unreasonable." Mepad took a few steps back to give mephone some space

Mephone didn't respond, instead he started packing some things in his leather bag.

"I'm going outside to get some food." Mephone bluntly said before climbing up the ladder and crawling out. He closed the bunker lid and secured it tightly.

The place was dark and snowy, the cold was merciless, killing almost everything.

"I hate Canada" mephone4 mumbles.

The snow made a satisfying crunch as he walked, his screen getting brighter, using it as a flashlight. The bushes and trees were covered in snow. No fruit in sight. Then he saw it, a burrow. In his desperate need for food he reached into the hole, not caring if it might be any danger to him.

*CLINK*

"Ow!" mephone pulled his hand out to see something, no, someone, biting his hand.

"WHAT THE FUCK" mephone4 punched the creature with his other hand, making it let go and fly away in fear.

It seems to be a female, a mutated human that resembles a firefly.

"YEAH GO FLY AWAY!" Mephone4 held up a middle finger, as if the creature even knows what it means.

The creature flew and flew, taking rests in small islands for a few hours then flying again. Days go by, and most of the time the creature saw nothing but blue water, and some other mutated humans that tried to kill her.

Then finally, after days of never ending pain, she landed on an island that was not too warm, not too cold. It was perfect. She began to wonder around, stopping near a lake to get a drink. As she drank, she saw a shadow in the water moving closer, and closer..

SPLASH

"eek!" she let out a yelp and jumped backwards.

It was another mutated human, it seemed to be female to. Its slimy body was out of the water, trying to bite the other one. She flew up, so the other creature couldn't bite her. After a few seconds it gave up and crawled back in the water.

The creature ran away, scared about dying. She was so exhausted, she just wanted to find somewhere to rest. Then she saw it, a pile of leaves, it was yellow, just like her color, a perfect place for camouflage and rest. She climbed on the leaves and let out a sigh, laying down and finally-

She flinched as she felt the ground move, she found that it was a trap, and now she's trapped in a net. She frantically tried to escape by chewing on the net but it's no use, it's made of metal.

A strange smell hits her nose, making her sleepy and weak...

"What should we do with it?"

She began to stir awake.

"I don't know, but we just have to- FAN WATCH OUT!"

She lashed around when she realized she was in a place she didn't recognize, the cage she's in moving around agressively.

"Woah!" Fan barely escaped being attacked by the creature, because he was too close to the cage.

"We need to control this monster.. it's not fully infected yet so, we should have luck with developing a new cure." Testtube writes down on her notes.

Fan looks at the creature, it seemed to be conscious, like it's still aware of it's surroundings. Fan stares at the creatures eyes, feeling sympathy for the poor thing.

"Testtube, don't you ever think they they understand us? I mean, they used to me humans.." fan says, taking a few steps closer to the creature.

The creatures tail glowed like a firefly, the light looking so amazing and pretty. It was mesmerizing how the creature seemed to move the light in a slow, smooth motion. It's like something is telling him to come closer.

"Yeah but, they can't control their movements.. atleast that's what I think.." testtube turns to look at fan. She suddenly gets shocked when she sees that fan isn't there anymore, instead inches close to the cage.

"FAN NO-!" testtube runs up to fan as he was reaching in the cage.

The creature was about to bite fans hand off when it bit testtube instead.

"AHK-" fan grunts when his body hit the ground.

"aaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" testtube screams, her body is slammed onto the cage when the creature pulls her hand into the cage with it's mouth. Making testtube's nose bleed.

Her skin breaks as the creature continues to pull, the sickening sound of ripping flesh and dislocating, cracking bones echo throughout the room along with testtube's screams of pain.

Fan just freezes, unsure what to do. He is in complete utter shock, trembling and trying to process what is happening.

Finally, testtube's hand gets ripped out of her arm, testtube stumbles backwards, she is hysterically crying and shaking. Blood gushing out of her arm.

Fan forces himself to move, running up to testtube and taking his shirt off, using it to cover testtube's wound. He tied his shirt tightly on testtube's arm so that the bleeding can stop, he took the pencil that testtube was writing with and using it to make the knot tighter (idk how to explain it.) After a few seconds, testtube stops bleeding.

Testtube was still sobbing

"It's gonna be okay testtube, im so sorry, this is all my fault." Fan sobs, he hugs testtube.

Testtube slowly hugs him back.

Meanwhile the creature was done eating testtube's hand, it began to transform, it's mutated like features shrinking. Now the creature looked slightly more human.

But the scientist and her assistant were too busy to notice the changes.
