I couldn't keep my smile off while looking at Neil.
"You won't wish me a good evening?" He asked formally.
"Good evening, Mr. Neil Moseby!" I smiled.
"Why are you smiling so much, Miss..?" A man in late 30's spoke, looking into my C.V, lying infront of him and called my name. "Yes, Miss. Alice Savatore?"
"Nothing, sir. I am just very much pleased and delighted to be here."
I began introducing myself. I noticed, Mr. Rodgers whispering something into the person sitting next to him ears. He smiled a bit and got his attention back on me.
One by one, they started firing questions at me. I looked at Neil sometimes while answering but then took my eyes off as he was smiling continuously. They asked about me and only me. My hobbies, my interest. My talents, my experience. After so long, it was all about me.
"She sings very well." Mr. Rodgers added as I missed that part, though intentionally.
"Ah, really?" Mrs. Alfred, Associate Manager expressed.
"A little, mam." I shyly smiled.
"Please, I would like to hear few lines." She insisted.
I hate Mr. Rodgers for this. Am I here for a talent show or an internship?
"What would you like to hear, mam?" I heard Neil's voice. Among all, he was the most excited one because he never had a chance to hear me.
"Whatever she prefers!" She exclaimed.
I had Lana Del Ray's young and beautiful in my mind then. So, without thinking much, I started with it only.
" I've seen the world,
Done it all,
Had my cake now..
Diamonds,
brilliant,
And Bel Air now...""Hot summer nights, mid July
When you and I were forever wild..
The crazy days, city lights
The way you'd play with me like a child.."They were enjoying my singing and didn't asked me to stop. So, I continued.
"Will you still love me
When I'm no longer young and beautiful?
Will you still love me
When I got nothing but my aching soul?
I know you will, I know you will
I know that you will
Will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful?"And I stopped.
There was a huge applaud by the 6 people sitting right in front of me. I sang after so many days. I felt at so much peace. Just as dance gave me relaxation, singing gave me inner peace.

It was 7:30 by the time the interview finished up. Neil, asked me to wait then. Serene and Zia left as they were meeting their boyfriends. Susan, stayed with me. Susan said, she is keeping no hopes from this interview as she knows she won't get selected. I didn't know why was she sure about so many things.
Finally, we saw Neil comming. His red Audi appeared at the college gate as we stepped out of it. Susan glanced at the Audi and then at me, all wide-eyed.
"Audi TT! It's the latest model." She whispered. I giggled and nodded.
"Neil's?" She whispered again.
