ikari was one. she could walk now.
finally.
ikari, no, lyssa, was exhausted.
it was difficult to recall the events of her previous life. every day in this world made her forget more and more. but one thing stuck to her.
lyssa odin.
her name wasn't ickary, or whatever the hell these foreign language speakers called her everyday.
so far, from her dwindling past life memory, she knew, nothing.
all she remembered was a cliff, fire, and the rage that compelled her.
so, with the limited knowledge her developing brain could keep, she was able to think of a fitting goal. to get back at the world for giving her some "blessed second chance" she never asked for.
she was going to destroy. she'd burn everything in her path to ash because why the fuck would she be nice? she wanted to disappear. not to be reincarnated into some sick, twisted family.
it infuriated her.
well, what didn't?
nonetheless, the fact she couldn't speak pissed her off. once she found out whatever the hell they were saying to her, it was over for them.
and that happened quite quick, actually.
a month or two of actually listening instead of setting people off—or on fire let her figure it out a lot easier.
she could say mother, father, and basic things like it's or and in the odd language. well, hypothetically.
she didn't actually put her vocal cords to work yet.
maybe if she could remember more from her past life, she'd know the language they spoke. then again, it's another dimension, isn't it? maybe it doesn't exist in her realm.
from the way she sets herself on fire when emotional to the odd blue auras surrounding everybody, there were definitely things alot different from where she came from.
which was...
oh.
she'd forgotten that too.
but, it didnt matter where she initially arose from anymore.
all that mattered was that she was here now, and she was going to desolate.
.
the next time mikoto tried to reprimand her kid, she replied with,
"it's lyssa, not ikari."
all in perfect japanese.
