ep 1 = sudden feelings

the cold breeze in the air, the fresh scent of cookies, the time of family and friends, it was december and a young girl alone in her sweet 1 bedroom condo. waiting on someone, but who? no one other then her boyfriend che byung-chul, byung-chul was her boyfriend who was two years older then her.

mi-ryung was 18 years old while her boyfriend was 20, she believes that she should leave him, because nowadays they don't have the connection they used to.. college has taken over their relationship, their open free-time never went towards dates or quality time together instead it went straight to studying or sleep. mi-ryung couldn't blame byung-chul, they both did it whenever they had time. college took out the life of you, you have to keep your a-game up.

"hey baby!" mi-ryung rose upon hearing the front door open and close, so she ran up from the couch almost spilling the hot chocolate on the coffee table.

 mi-ryung and byung-chul had finally planned a date at a fine dinner down the street from their condo, it was known for its "lovely magic" 

"hi, babee~" byung-chul yawned and gave mi-ryung a kiss on her forehead before heading to couch.

"are you cold, want a blanket?" i asked byung-chul.

"nah, i got to get this homework done." byung-chul stated, holding his pencil and writing down something on the homework page.

mi-ryung hoped he hadn't forgot about their date night, though she didn't worry too much it was only 5pm and the date was at 8. "don't forget our date night baby~" she kissed his cheek then walked into their bedroom bringing her hot chocolate to continue her studies.

mi-ryung set an alarm to go off around 7 so she could get ready, though she was having troubles picking a outfit for the date because it was 34 degrees out, so she resorted to pinterest for a stylish yet warm outfit with the clothing pieces she has. after changing she walked out to check on byung-chul.

"baby?.." she called out to him, 

"hmm" he tossed into her arms while being sleepy,

"our date is in an hour.."  mi-ryung was nervous he would call it off last minute, yet he actually didn't but got up and rushed around the condo getting ready, leaving mi-ryung in giggles. By the time 8 had came by byung-chul was ready surpisingly. 

"my gosh you're fast" she giggled. 

"i wouldn't want to miss our date babe~" byung-chul replied, "i feel so bad for spending little to no time with my own girlfriend!" he sadly sobbed. though mi-ryung supported him by hugging him on his side, while he was driving.

"don't worry, you're doing it now. that's all that matters!" she cheered, while staring at him deeply with reassurance. 

the rest of the ride of silent with both rethinking their relationship together, did they really love eachother or we they just well.. best friends?..

they stopped at the festive cafe, however upon stopping byung-chul noticed someone from college, lee yongbok. 

"oh hey bro, watcha doin' here?" byung-chul started a conversation. 

"i was just taking a break from dancing... you know." yongbok seemed off to byung-chul, 

"how about you join mi-ryung and i?" byung-chul invited him.

"i don't want to interupt you guys, its fine." yongbok explained.

"i insist!!" byung-chul pulled yongbok with them.

gosh.. how could he? our first date in months and no offense to yongbok but did you really have to invite your guy friends, i don't even have a girl friend with me right now. mi-ryung wasn't happy but wasn't going to be mean nor disrespectful to yongbok.

"hi mimi!" yongbok called -mi-ryung.

"hi bokkie," mi-ryung said with no true emotion, but byung-chul and yongbok burst into chatter. mi-ryung just sadly looked over the menu, wondering what to do about it. perhaps mi=ryung and byung-chul needed time.. but while thinking someone interupted her.

"excuse me, lady and gents what may i get you?" the little waiter asked the group.

"oh i'll take a caramel hot chocolate, please!" she told the waiter.

"we'll both take a iced americano, thanks!" byung-chul spoke.

"coming right up, any snacks?" he asked us.

"thanks for asking, i could use a brownie with frosting  please!" i smiled for the first time in awhile. as i was taking in the sight, a cute sweet boy taking my order.

"is that it?" he asked me and the boys.

"yep," i answered for the boys, who weren't paying the slightest of attention. i couldn't let their talking ruin this for me, he was a cute boy and i wanted to know a bit more about him. his smile warmed me up in the freezing weather. gosh, i think i'm in love... but not with byung-chul, my own fricking boyfriend.
