"Even without the string I wouldn't have left...I thought you died...and it was all my fault." Heeseung rubbed his thumb against Jake's hand comfortingly.

"What are you in love with me or something?" Heeseung laughed. Jake frowned. "Shut up, you're making me start to not feel bad anymore." their bickering session was interrupted by a soft knock on the door frame. "Sorry for interrupting love birds, but I really do think that you two should go back to your own house soon," Jay was clearly sick of all the questions about the young boy.

"Right...Heeseung can you get up? Or do you need be to carry you," Jake asked. "Can I be carried anyway?" He responded. Jake rolled his eyes "Get up bozo." Jake helped Heeseung to his feet. They left Jay's apartment and entered the elevator. There was an awkward silence between them. They stood as far as they could from each other.

Heeseung was in his own world of thoughts, yet he was interrupted by a soft sniffle. Is he crying? He looked at Jake whose face was covered by his hood. "Jaeyun?" He asked tense yet calmly.

When Jake turned to face him, he could tell that Jake was in fact crying. "Are you alright?" Heeseung asked Jake was about to answer when the door opened, and a few people got in. Without hesitation, Heeseung held Jakes hand tight, and they walked out of the elevator together.

Once they were outside the apartment building, Heeseung stopped and faced Jake still holding onto his hand. "What's wrong?" he asked in a soft tone. Jake looked up, his eyes and nose were pink. "I'm sorry..." Jake looked down and covered his eyes with his sleeve. Heeseung lifted Jakes head "For what?".

"This is all my fault...If only I hadn't kissed you, we wouldn't be in this mess," Jake let go of Heeseung's hand to try and stop the tears from falling. "Hey...It's okay Jaeyunnie. I don't blame you, and to be honest I didn't want you to leave...I still don't," Heeseung blushed and looked away, embarrassed of what he said.

"w-why? I've been nothing but a jerk to you even after you helped me," Jake was crying so much that a few people stared as they walked past. "I think you're just very enjoyable to be around," Heeseung said, yet he couldn't really pinpoint why he actually wants to stay with Jake.

It was just something about him that made Heeseung wish their souls would actually be tied together.
