Now the thought of Ni-Ki made Heeseungs blood boil. He felt like Jake betrayed him.
Fuck you Sim Jaeyun...
a week later:
Jake climbed out of bed and changed into sporty clothing. He walked downstairs and was greeted by Ni-Ki's warm smile. "Good morning, Hyungie," Ni-Ki said sweetly. Jake returned the smile.
"Good morning, Riki," Jake sat down next to him. A plate of hotteok pancakes and a cup of coffee sat right in front of him. There was a heart on top of the pancakes made from whipped cream.
"So...Are you finally going to tell Heeseung today?" Ni-Ki asked his smiled faded. Jake looked around, thinking, as he chewed his food.
"No...I don't think I will...I mean...as long as I don't see him again, I won't have to, right?" Jake sighed.
"Hyung...You can't just run away from him like this. You'll break his heart," Ni-Ki frowned, considering whether or not to drag Jake to Heeseung's house.
"Psh...Come on Ni-Ki...We only pretended to fall in love just to get rid of the string. It's not like we actually DID fall in love..." Jake said feeling a bit gloomy.
"Hyung, I swear to GOD if you don't go talk to Heeseung today I will drag you there myself," Ni-Ki threatened. Jake
"Ni-Ki...Please...I don't want to see him again," Jake said a little shakily.
"No, you are going to see him. You can't just run away from things when it gets complicated."
Not much time later:
"I hate you Ni-Ki...Why are you making me do this," Jake kicked around trying to get Ni-Ki to put him down.
"Because you need to sort things out with Heeseung." They walked up to the door and Ni-Ki finally set Jake down. They knocked and waited. It didn't take much time before the door was opened by a staff member.
"Hello how may I help you gentlemen?" He asked politely.
"Hi...Is can I talk to Heeseung?" Jake muttered a little embarrassed. The man looked at him a little shocked and confused.
"Oh...Did Master Lee not tell you about his going off to the Philippines?" He asked a little frazzled.
"Oh, he's on a trip? When will he be back?" Ni-Ki asked, keeping a tight grip on Jake so he doesn't run away.
"Oh no you misunderstood me I mean he moved away to the Philippines, he isn't coming back for quite some time," Jake's heart felt like it melted into nothingness at this. He felt alone. "Ah yes you're Sim Jaeyun. I believe this is your dog," The man let go of a leash and Layla ran up to Jake.
"I-I'm sorry? He moved?" Ni-Ki was bewildered.
"Yes. He has gone to find a well-paying career and a fresh start to life." Jake said nothing and only pet Layla sadly.
"That's uh...good to hear," Ni-Ki lied. "Lets...get going Jake." They both left feeling disheveled. Jake said nothing...In fact, he was so hurt by Heeseung ditching him that he didn't speak full sentences to anyone for months.
He was sure of one thing though, if he ever saw Heeseung again he'd kill him.
