S=8 The gunpowder adventure

*Third Pov*

Inside the tree house, sounds could be heard of the crashing of broken pieces of pots. Senku was destroying whatever he had in hand as (Y/N) was getting the essentials. 

She took what it was useful and what Senku told her to take. Everything was secured inside a pouch made of animal skin.

Taiju and Yuzuriha were looking at the duo, wondering what the hell they were doing.

"What a waste! What are two doing?" Asked Taiju looking at the duo.

"We have to make it look like we left in a big hurry, only taking some food after being scared by Tsukasa." Said Senu finishing his job.

"If we can complete the gunpowder, it's our win. But if Tsukasa gets wind of it before that, we lose. It's one hell of a race." Said (Y/N) finished the sachel as well. 

She had a small pouch around her waist that contained her "weapons," and she was looking at her friends. "We are ready to go." She finished as she took the sachel and started to get out of the house, Senku following her.

All of them had things to carry. Taiju had most of them followed by (Y/N) and Senku, and in the final, Yuzuriha had just a few small bags. 

"We're off to get the materials for gunpowder! Our goal is Hakone. Just a grand adventure of a mere 80 kilometers." Said Senku as they started to leave the camp.

"Okay!! No matter how hard I listen, I won't get it. But anyways, if we go to Hakone, we get the gunpowder, right?" Said Taiju leading the group. "Isn't 0 kilometers like two full marathons? Can't we get there in about five hours?" asked him as he started to warm up.

"That's only for a stamina maniac like you!" Said Senku as he started to get something out.

"Is a sextant, right?" asked (Y/N) as she looked at the instrument Senku started to use.

"Yes. Sunrise is 35.970 seconds from now." Said Senku trying to know their location.

"You just said something amazing so easily." Said Yuzuriha impressed by Senku.

"While he was still a stone statue, he counted to like 1,000,000,000,000 like it was nothing." Spoke Taiju.

"With a sextant, one can determine the one's current location. Its accuracy is garbage, though." Said Senku stopping his action. "Even so, this garbage is our only means of navigation." Finished him.

"What if the axes shifted? It has been over 3000 years after all." Said (Y/N) looking at Senku.

"It is a possibility why this garbage is not working. anyway. Are we in Kamakura? I want some accurate coordinates so bad..!" Senku spoke, getting annoyed.

"Hmph...are there seriously no landmarks?" Asked Taiju.

"All the metal has rusted away." Said Senku.

"There should be nothing left." Spoke (Y/N). "But maybe some landmarks remain. Didn't bronze rust slow or something like that?" asked her, looking at her friends.

"Kamakura's landmark..." Whispered Yuzuriha.

After what she said, all the bulbs had lightened up, and everyone started to run in a random direction. Good for them when (Y/N) spotted something unusual.

"Over there! Why are there no trees there." Said (Y/N) as she stopped running. 

Senku, together with Taiju and Yuzuriha, stopped but then walked as (Y/N) started to walk to that spot.

As they approached the spot, everyone stopped as they knew where they were.

"Ku ku ku, I know where we are. 35° 19' north, 139° 32' east!" Senku said, getting excited.
