"I am going to become an artist." Said (Y/N).

~~A bit over 3.700 years ago...when (Y/N) was in first grade.~~

"An amazing dream, (Y/N). I am sure you'll be the most amazing artist." Said the old teacher.

"Thank you, sir." (Y/N) said as she took her place.

"Good. Now...Ishigami, what do you want to be when you grow up?" Asked the teacher as the little Senku rose from his space and spoke with confidence.

"I am going to Space!" Said Senku catching the attention of (Y/N). She was looking at the boy. He found him interesting especially after he said he would go to space.

"An astronaut, then! A wonderful dream to pursue when you're all grown up." Said the teacher.

"No. Much sooner than that." Senku finished looking bored as he took his place.

School finished and the kids were let go. Parent were chatting with their kids, laughing and smiling, but only (Y/N) stood alone at the entrance of the school. She looked left, then right. She couldn't see her parents so she started walking alone.

She was already used to that. Going to school by the school bus and then going home by herself.

She wasn't scared of going on the same path alone, but she was feeling sad because neither of her parents achieved the prize of getting her home from school.

They would always be busy with other things.

Her father was rarely home and her mother was busy cleaning the house and making food and laundry. She was a housewife, after all, with no job, but only to take care of the house and (Y/N).

But (Y/N) was already in first grade so she took it in her own little hands to walk alone to home.

Arriving home, (Y/N) was met with shouting and screaming. Her father was home. She didn't want to enter the house so she walked to the river next to their house. She would wait until a bit later to get inside the house.

Taking her place on the ground she took off her backpack and taking her notebooks out started her homework.

It was easy for her. She was happy that she could remember everything her teacher wrote on the whiteboard and even spoke of. She was one of those kids that got things fast and she liked it in a way.

Finishing her work for the next day of school, she took the liberty to look at the river. IT felt good to just stay and relax. It felt good to connect with nature. She loved how she could just relax and then everything would feel much closer, she could feel the wind through her short (H/C) hair. She could smell the fresh air and she could feel the warmth of the sun. She loved that she had so much free time because homework was easy.

She then opened her eyes and looked at the sky. The clouds were painting the blue sky with hues of white.

(Y/N) then looked for a piece of white paper in her backpack and taking the colored pencils she started to draw what she saw. An almost clear sky on a nice warm day.

Finishing the drawing she put it back and getting up together with her backpack she started to walk home. (Y/N) decided that it passed a good amount of time so arriving home, the house was quiet.

Arriving at the door she tried to concentrate to hear if her father, especially, was inside the main floor. hearing not even a sound she opened the door only to see disaster. The whole house was a war zone. Scattered pieces of broken vases and things thrown away in the madness, made (Y/N) sick in her stomach...but it was a daily thing...she hated to say it, but she was used to it.
