'Marinette' i sprinted to her...

adriens pov

i scooped her up holding her bridal style and charging into the ball. I set eyes on felix and kagami fighting i felt guilty for what happened but if only marinette knew it was a joke. Felix looked at me raged but his mood changed with worry as soon as he saw his cousin unconscious in my arms. "what did you do to her why is she unconscious!" felix shouted at me. 'We got in a fight she started hyperventilating i was going to run in-' i tried to speak but got cut off. "was why didn't you are u fucking stupid." 'let me finish. i was going to run in and get you when she told me to stop and she started to struggle to breathe and she ran off,' i stated but felix looked even more furious. "are you fucking kidding adrien you know how stubborn she is you should've just gone in and got me she would've stayed" felix told her i knew he was right but i wasn't going to admit it.

'ok fine maybe i was abit stupid' never mind i guess i did admit it. 'but me being an idiot doesn't stop the fact that she's unconscious so maybe we could deal with that' i explained and his mood shifted to seriousness.

Felix took her to the nurse whilst i was stuck with talking to her father. That man disgusted me i never liked him.

'mr agreste. sir.' i talked to him. "Yes adrien just a moment" he was talking to my mother emelie. They were having a conversation about a agreste and dupain meeting. Marinettes mum sabine died 5 years ago whilst my dad Tom died 7 years ago marinette was only 12 whilst i was 11. Me and marinette always joked when we were about 15 about our parents getting married but i always knew the joke hurt her. Her mums death broke her she's changed now she's more wrecklace she gets drunk does drugs she's very different where i think i changed just a little.

"ok adrien what's up" gabriel asked. 'hm oh' i said just coming back from my day dream. 'i just thought you should know marinette is with the nurses as she has fainted' i explained. "oh dear is she ok let's go check on her im very worried" he wasn't.

'i know what you did' i exclaimed. "pardon me" 'you hit her before the ball why' i looked into his grey eyes. "that's none of your concern thank you" the adrenaline had just worn off i wish it stayed so i could stand up for marinette.

we entered the nursing room to see marinette fighting the nurses from putting the needles in her arm. she was scared. "marinette agreste what do you think your doing" her father said with a tone of annoyance. "NO GET OFF ME NOW" marinette was struggling she was exhausted but carried on fighting. She glanced at me i smiled weakly.

"what are you doing here" said disgusted to see me. 'just checking up on you' i said. "get out" 'but mari-' "get out now" so i left.

marinettes pov:

I wasn't going to stop fighting or pushing the nurses from me i wasn't going to be trapped her like a child in her room. "marinette please stop your going to hurt yourself more you just woke up your tired" felix said 'no felix i'm fine.'

"marinette agreste obey the nurses they want to help you your the princess we can't have a weak princess" father said trying to pin my hand down.

'leave me alone im not letting you stick needles in me leave me alone get away from me' i shouted.

"marinette stop" father slapped me harder than ever before i felt faint again light headed i was getting pulled into unconsciousness again.
"now that's what you call a helping hand" father said laughing to the nurses and felix.

"stupid girl" i heard him say to me this time but then i passed out again.
